Ah right so this is a "having to have it ordered by and delivered to college" type thing like GAK? Heh, spot the cheap student on the look out for a bargain!

Wow, you couldn't be further off the mark mate. I'd laid down £950 for the head and £400 for the cab. Then I realised I could get it for less, and have it delivered to my HOME. Sorry, I really shouldn't have gotten that discount. I can't apologize enough. Cock.

Eh? I meant I was the cheap student looking for a bargain. I'm really confused by the response but that could just be me being dense.

Need I put 'In my opinion' at the end of everything? Tone boils down to opinion and you know that, there's no need to reply like that. At least give us SOME justification, Jesus. I suppose you being the holy grail of all things Kit and Tab is enough for you.

it's shit, that's my justification.

it turned a vintage gibson sg/marshall jtm45 setup really boring and uninspiring :stunned:

everything exciting about overdrive taken out and you're left with something that's completely soulless, it's probably good if you don't want anyone to take notice, but to me, that's ain't 'tone'.

to whoever was considering buying a crunchbox (pedal)

having owned one, it was a good pedal in some ways...it was warm sounding (best thing about it), but sort of lifeless with the gain turned up. just really thick, somewhat dull distortion with a slight amount of fuzz.

I had the gain below half most of the time to get a sound i liked.

I read it as a reference to me, so all apologies sir, I guess you see how I could've took it? No, you just need to be a student, list your place of study and that's it! It's very cool.

Also Haze, fair enough, I tried it the once and really liked it.

Solid state rectifier? are you saying it's like a mesa rectifier rip off but with a solid state rectifier? If so, how can it be a rip off then?

*slams head on desk*

..

wait, i get it, you're saying it's not all valve, cause it has a solid state rectifier.

Oh well.

Looks nice anyhow.

I sent my pickguard in to have it wired with new pickups etc, so I guess this counts as my latest purchase

Nothing exciting really.
