Crowella
Yep, they are indeed very unusual. He even mentioned he can upgrade the chips to make it become the Count to Five, which has a longer memory time IIRC.

james90
Have you already got it? Technically I bought this a while ago, but I waited to receive it with some other stuff. Just arrived today. This one was also once owned by Simno, so it sounds better than all the others. Now I've got four different (?) sounds for my bass setup. 1. animato 2. animated 3. EHX big muff 4. built in amp big muff with real tubes Probably some others that I'm not aware of as well (meaning the other pedals I have which I wouldn't expect to work on bass)
matthijs
Don't forget the VT which does some nice fliptop like sounds.
james90
Don't forget the VT which does some nice fliptop like sounds. Yeah that's true. To be honest, I was intending on using that as more of a way to run the bass into my computer. Haven't really experimented with the different drive sounds it has Which one do you have exactly? Dave.
Have you already got it? Nope, only ordered it. If I'm very lucky it'll be here before Christmas. Although that depends on it getting to Ireland on Sunday. The only reason I was waiting to order it was I wasn't sure if I'd have to buy a bigger pedalboard to fit it, but with a little economising of space, I can fit it perfectly. Crowella
Made a video about the Goodbye 24. The best sounds I got out of it are on video. Thank fuck. I couldn't remember how to do the ascending scale sound though. Such a bizarre thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5auUw_N7PU The camera picks up the sound quite nicely too. Which is odd. Knight
are the stock pickups any good or do you just want something different? They aren't half bad, though I do tend to go for pickups with a little more bite.
james90
They aren't half bad, though I do tend to go for pickups with a little more bite. I suppose those would work. The stockholms don't really have that much bite for single coils though. I'd consider a lower output humbucker set too

Crowella
I bought an AKG Perception 120. Does the trick as a basic throw around mic. I regret selling my Oktava overheads now. I will never get the cash back on them. *derp*
