Guest Batman.
Ah, nevermind then  I'm doing lots of political commentary tonight as we've got a republican debate on, thought you were referencing that.

Love the Wah Probe, though

Michelle Bachmann has to be a joke, surely? If a republican is going to win the 2012 election I hope it's Ron Paul, from what I've seen.

I've said it everywhere already but,

Fender Frontman 212R.

yay!

Don't worry Jim, you can still the edge with your delay pedal.

Speaking of delay pedals....

Oh yes. It WILL be mine.

You seriously bought one of those? One of the few delay pedals I've never really GAS'd for. Nothing wrong with it just never suited my fancy.

PS--Edge also has a Goldtop...and a Custom :ninja:

Looks way too yellow, I blame the bad lighting. Will get some more truthful ones of the color after dinner.

It's a tad yellow but looks good. How does it play and sound?

Plays and sounds awesome--I think I got lucky on the setup, like I said I played that Custom Shop LP that was the worst guitar I think I may have ever played.

It looks a lot yellower in those than in real life, it's much more that sort of greenish-yellow color that Goldtops tend to be. Here are some better pics:

Yeah, creme just wouldn't go with the white binding, etc.

I'm hoping a newer, more substantial gloss finish will hold up better...

Oh I didn't realize it had white binding.

I think that guitar I posted is for sale...not sure how good a '75 would be.

What year was the edge's gold top? :ninja:

It's gold from the rust?

Nah I meant that Jim could probably put 36 years of wear on a guitar in a short period of time

Actually...he could probably charge a fortune relic'ing for gibson.

It's usually like this for the custom shop gibsons

$5699 VOS (vintage original spec)

$8999 Tom Murphy aged

$15999 Tom Murphy aged and signed

Yeah, it was originally a chrome finish - but Jim got hold of it.

Olly, you've seen Simno's chrome guitar recently haven't you? Does that look like it's darkened at all compared to musecasters' chrome bomber replica? (I realize they were finished by different companies, but still)

Should be picking up the empress delay in a few hours. I don't know if I'll have enough time today to figure out how to use it though...
