A Squier Jazz bass will do as well providing they are setup fine. Ibanez also have a decent line of basses as well once you push past the entry models. I'm very tempted to video myself picking it up out of the case and playing a song for the first time just so I can watch my reaction after! And yeah, I'm tempted to just record from the moment after I've got the guitar at the door and taken it upstairs in all the packaging, just so I can watch back my reaction to each stage later on! The problem is it would have to be on my laptop's webcam so the quality would be poor and you certainly wouldn't get a fair representation of the guitar's sound, but you'd be able to see my blend of :happy: pretty well I'd imagine Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have about a $350(US) budget Squier Classic Vibe bass, without a shadow of a doubt. Either a Jazz, Precision or Tele-style (early Precision), all great. Well i may not hang on to it very long as I think I am going to re-buy an HD500 next week so i won't have any use for the m5 if I do.
