james90
Let me know - I have 2 of those 10 series pedals now, i'd like another. In fact if anyone sees a SS10 (I think that's it) bright pink Distortion/Chorus pedal, let me know. It turns out it's not a DL10, but a DDL digital delay...still a good deal I think. Seems like the price of the 10 series pedals has gone up. a shop I used to go to had loads of them in the $25 range, and now I'm seeing some of them for as much as $300 on ebay. cheddatom
I should probably stop talking about mine then. Hopefully i'll fine another drive pedal that'll give me a similarly nasty tone, but without so much hum.

james90
palmface. you gonna get the new one or an oldschool model?  well only the WH4 has MIDI, so I'll have to get that.  I had my eye on a nice whammy II though, but I can't get that now  and yeah, basically it does just that.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2BLScrj9lw

james90
Ohhh you mean the whammy DT? That does have MIDI, but I wasn't planning on getting one of those - I was just going to get a WH4. I don't think those have been discontinued (yet?)
rust_relic
I asked Molten Voltage if their Molten MIDI 2 will work with the new Whammy DT and I got back "We don't know yet. We'll get our hands on one as soon as it comes out and find out. Â Glad you dig it!" Â
Neil.
James if i was you i'd hang on for the DT. I know it's unnecessarily massive, but it's polyphonic. That's the reason i fucking hate my wh4.

JoshH
I got one of the molten midis and got a decent motp effect
james90
For the first part anyway - you'll probably need something more for the different patterns throughout the song
JoshH
yeah for sure Not that I could sing MOTP but just doing it live I think you could get away with just using that one setting because only you and maybe one person in the crowd would know the song anyway, at least around here. To be thorough though yeah would need to be able to switch setting which I need to start experimenting with. It's a fun control though and it's nice you don't need a computer, though I HIGHLY recommend using the computer programmer. Extremely easy and I could never get it to program manually right. If they say yes (can't see why it wouldn't work) then I may have a vague curiousity about trying one out at some point. Personally I hate the idea of having to hook my guitar up to a computer to get a particular effect.
JimboMansonMB-1
Yeah, same. IIRC, isn't there a way to change presets on the Molten MIDI?
james90
$50 more than a new one, and made of plastic... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120743408449 I can't plug MIDI into it either...

james90
yes, which is why it's in this thread apparently the whammy I and whammy II have the same chip or something. not sure how important that is though.
