Only 3 more days until Muse will be here to start their Australian Tour! We've had four instances of them being in the media last week, so I thought it might be a good idea to have one thread where we can post links to interviews, scans of magazines articles etc. There's bound to be more. Thanks to some industrious Musers this is what we have so far: (I've checked with Olly that it's ok to repost these)

And this is from Erato's blog:

Looking forward to seeing lots more Muse in the Australian Media! :D

Yes I know what you mean - I did check with Olly and he said it was ok - an Australian Media Thread was started in the lead up to the 2007 tour and it lasted for ages until it turned into a chat room and got locked.

So yes no off-topic please. :)

Thanks again to everyone who's posted what we have so far. :)

Was just listening to Super Request on Triple J and Rosie played Absolution live from a 2004 Australian gig. Then she said something about listening next Thursday night to hear Muse live. Are they broadcasting the gig? :eek:

I am SO excited for the broadcast of the gig on the 9th! Is there any more information as to whether it's the entire gig orrrr...? I've only seen that tweet from Rosie and that was it.

Well from what I heard when I flicked on Triple J it sounded like they were recording the whole gig - they made a comment about recording Muse live for the first time since 2004. Their recordings should go onto the website afterwards yeah? I don't want to listen before the Melbourne gig is done.

Ahh sweet! I'm fairly sure they do put their recordings up on the site, but in case it doesn't, i'm sure there's a few people who will record it and put it up on bootlegs or ml.

just noticed this news article on triple j

http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/musicnews/s3088331.htm

"Bellamy celebrated his birthday in Sydney, but said the night didn't "get too mental" as he was so jetlagged."

:stunned::erm::wtf:

Singer, Matt Bellamy told triple j the height of the band's on stage set did scare him when they kicked off their arena shows in Brisbane.

"We'd just had a month off and hadn't done it in a while.

"I go up pretty high and spin around on my drum kit; it always makes me go Jesus whenever it happens."

Drummer, Dom Howard said the band's set is based on the idea of being "trapped in a sort of military building from the book 1984."

They got everything mixed up. :LOL:
