Avalanchesounds
Hey Muse fans We are two Audio Engineer students working on a final Project. Ben and I were given the task to record and recreate a song of our choice for our final project. We chose Muse with their song Starlight, as we both love the song. The task is to get as close as possible to the original. In the next few weeks we will show you our progress with these podcasts. This one is the first and more will follow. We will show you step by step how we are going to proceed with this fun adventure. You can follow our adventure on Youtube!
Olly.
5.30 onwards you sure you're playing the right notes? I'm liking the project idea though, will be following it, sounds cool.

Any suggestions you would like to share? The closer we are the better our grades! ;-)
Vigo
It also sounded a bit weird to me, I think these are the notes played on the original: e|-7-------7-------6-------6-------7-------7---------------------------------------------- B|---9------9-------9-------8-------9-------9-------------12---------------------------- G|-----8------8-------8-------8-------9-------9----11-11---11---9--9 --11--9----- D| A| > paper or sock E| ----------7----------------------------- --7--7------7--5--5--7--5----------- or ----------------------------------------- or whatever at the end, but those notes. I think one or two notes are not correct, but I'm not even sure myself. Otherwise, pretty cool stuff

Avalanchesounds
You guys are all so kind! We will take a break from recording this week and concentrate on editing the guitar and bass parts. We should be ready to record some vocals the following week and my camera will be there again. Thanks again for tuning in and it would be nice if you could share this among Muse fans! Davide
