Muse nominated for European Festival Awards

I've just checked in my twitter and Xfm has the news. Muse is nominated as best headliner and Uprising as anthem of the year.

 

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in the Netherlands on January 12.

Underdog's on there vs Uprising...tough choice. But Muse has done brilliant festivals this year.

Stevie Wonder was phenomenal at glasto, hope he wins, so much fun.

I personally want Muse to win the crown because they really played most of the major festivals throughout Europe with all the equipment they need. I think that's what makes them the kings of the season. All the other artists are great but they just played one or two special festivals which makes them at most the king of that particular festival.

Don't really understand what Robyn is doing there but fine.

i thought Gorillaz were fab this year, but i'll have to go with Arcade Fire.

 

the anthem award should go to Muse. Uprising was everywhere.

I haven't seen any of the headliner bands, so I can't really vote.

 

But Uprising definitely has my vote.

No.

I think their shows were very high-quaity. But the fact that they took their show to a lot of places, makes them even more awesome. But now I realize that one unique show is what counts in these awards. In that case I guess Arcade Fire or Stevie Wonder.

Would have liked to vote for Arcade Fire but "alas" I only saw them at their own show so can't really judge how they're like at festivals

Saw Muse at 2 festivals this year: one amazing and one poor performance, which combines makes an average of average. Stevie Wonders was amazing at Glasto and so much fun so voting for him.

 

Uprising gets my vote.

Only been to one festival this year and that was Oxegen. Muse were fantastic headliners, they definitely get my vote and also for Uprising, love it or hate it you can't deny it's extremely anthemic and gets crowds going wonderfully!

"Festival Anthem of the Year" should be a Pendulum track (IMHO).
