Furygirl
Ha - I just wikipedia'd his discography and the list of song-writers/producers etc is ginormous. He probably came up with the eenie meenie miney mo lyric - getting inspiration from the playground, what is the world coming to?! I guess the reason he's considered talented beyond some of the mainstream pop performers is because he supposedly can play a lot of instruments or something. Okay, I'll give him that, but he still makes me cringe.

Okay, I'll give him that, but he still makes me cringe. I'm with you there. No idea what his instrument-playing ability is - I think it probably says something though that on those songs of his that I've heard (i.e. his big radio hits), I've only heard him singing

He probably came up with the eenie meenie miney mo lyric - getting inspiration from the playground, what is the world coming to?! yeah, that's what I remembered, I looked it up once because I was curious He is still young, so you never know what may happen in the future, and if he's got talent, he's certainly going to benefit from being surrounded by so many people who know what they're doing, but I don't know that he's some sort of prodigy if he's got 50 people working with him to produce the final product. Microfuzz
I (maybe naively) balieve that they have their own taste in music and own opinions, but somehow learnt or were told to be polite and not offend anyone. (-> fit ti the majority). Is it really so awful that they tailor their speech to appear gracious and not offend anyone? Matt and Dom are probably saying whatever they think is appropriate. They're not angsty 20 year olds anymore. At 31-32, and in the midst of trying to break the American market, I would expect no less from Muse. Hat
Does he write his own songs? He may have a hand in it, but if i recall he's got an army of professional songwriters working with him... Ha - I just wikipedia'd his discography and the list of song-writers/producers etc is ginormous. He probably came up with the eenie meenie miney mo lyric - getting inspiration from the playground, what is the world coming to?! Well, I'm pretty certain that he writes the lyrics, at least some of them. But the point stands. It's a 16 year old boy on stage, who would expect his songs to deal with bad marriages, long time depression etc? And btw, if he has a lot of producers etc doesn't really matter.
