Moments when Muse songs describe random events perfectly.

So, I went to Europe last summer, and I was on a bus with a bunch of people driving through France or something. I had been listening to my iPod and I was just starting to fall asleep, when someone made an anouncement on a microphone. It startled me so much that I jumped in my seat. At that moment, I hear on my iPod, "And it scares the hell out of me..."

So this is going to sound pathetic but i was listening to Hysteria when I started going crazy because I couldn't find the candybar I was looking foward to all day!

That's a win

I was in the elevator and my friend was like 'You know, being stuck in an elevator wouldn't be so bad if you were with friend ya know.'

Just then Futurism came on and I started getting worried around the 'grounded, boxed in" part because the elevator was taking way too long

I made it out after like 30 mins

And being stuck in an elevator with a friend is not fun  I was listening to my ipod the whole time and my friend goes "why don't I just disappear and get Muse to take my place" (sarcastically) I was like "That would be soooo awesome!" Wrong answer haha.

On Halloween night, some friends and I went to a couple supposedly haunted cemeteries in my area. After a while, my friend Cassie and I got too freaked out, so we waited in the car while the others kept exploring the graveyard.

Well we were just hanging out and chatting while listening to the Muse Mix CD I gave her and trying to distract ourselves from how creeped out we were. Well we were listening to Eternally Missed and I totally forgot to warn her about the creepy ending to the song :chuckle:

I was hoping she'd scream or something ( I'm awful) but instead her eyes just went REALLY wide for a second until she goes "Oh wait... that's the music, isn't it?" :chuckle: Still, I feel that it was fitting music for a creepy Halloween night

Map Of The Promblematic - staying on the balcony and watch a stunderstorm starts.

-- Uprising - when your boss annoyes you :chuckle: I did that very often in my last job. Thank god I have a very nice boss now.

One time I was listening to my iPod on a nighttime, semi-stormy flight to Tampa. "Apocalypse Please" came on, and right as we hit an air pocket and the plane was in free fall for about half a second (promptly scaring the hell out of all of us), the lines "And this is the end, this is the end of the world" came on. I felt it was a little chilling and quite fitting.
