Nope, the VIP thing's never involved a meet-and-greet tmk. Wouldn't advise supporting it either since it's a pretty shitty system towards fans, but it's your money.

I know there's a blatant bias and all but Europe can get shite sets, too.

Their last two gigs in Oslo have seen stuff like Resistance, Guiding Light and UD. So they probably have seen some naff songs and just didn't mind them.

I agree with you completely, but I think it would have been somewhat worth it if it included a meeting at least. What they are currently offering is not at all interesting to me, so I won't be supporting it in any case.

We have indeed seen those songs, but we also got Knights Of Cydonia, Plug In Baby and Take A Bow at the last one. I don't check setlists, so I don't know if all of those were in there or if it was a spur of the moment thing.

Knights and PIB are fairly regular dw :chuckle:

TAB was more 50/50 in Europe.

Yeah, if VIP included a Meet and Greet at least it would give the fans something for their money other than a banana and a poster for 2x the seat prices.

How big is the banana?

Still brings a smile to my face whenever TAB gets mentioned. Such a great song, so glad I saw it live

Oh, and in 2013 they played House Of The Rising Sun. That was pretty great. Too bad both my experiences were dampened for reasons not on their part. Better luck next time. :)

I was sent this. The person who sent to to me was saying it's supposedly fake due to different fonts or something, so make of it what you will.

I mean, the live dates and venues don't sync up as well as all being in different fonts, and surely Daft Punk are big enough to do stadiums by themselves, but fuck it, in the one in 23 billion chance its not a fake, might be fun.

I dream of seeing Muse for £8.50 (Because of travelling to and from uni, and the journey from home to Norwich, the Big Weekend was the most expensive time I saw Muse).

To reiterate, I didn't make that. (If I did the names and dates would at least line up...)

I like that you don't wanna be associated with such a naff fake :chuckle:

*sigh* Fake or not though, just seeing European dates like that at least makes my imagination a teeny bit happy :(

On a side note, rumours of Daft Punk starting a tour a through the roof (Grammy performance, pop up store etc).

Ottawa Bluesfest is announcing their lineup next week.

They share A LOT of headliners with Festival D'ete in Quebec which Muse are also headlining.

Muse has NOT played in Ottawa since 2004, and the gap in their tour dates indicate this is very possible.

I don't put much hope into that; but would be there for sure if it happened. The one I'm looking at is the first weekend of August; Both Lollapalooza in Chicago and Osheaga in Montreal are going on at the same time (dumb) and I don't think either has announced any lineups. I know Osheaga likes to make their own lineup announcements and were quite upset when Radiohead scooped them last year. Being in western PA on August 1st would put them right in line to play palooza though.
