So a Canadian radio station has put up a contest for tickets and a flight to a small club show in a big city. Doesn't say when or where but we're now speculating US and Canadian small gigs.

 

What do you guys think? I'm trying to think WHEN this could happen...

The show will be on 8 May, according to the prize described in the Terms:

 

• return airfare, based on economy class, for two (2) people, departing from Toronto, Ontario on May 8, 2015 and returning May 10, 2015 (the “Travel Period”)

• two (2) nights’ standard accommodations (based on double occupancy)

• all hotel taxes and processing fees

• two (2) tickets to see MUSE perform live at a secret venue on May 8, 2015

• $200 CDN spending money for the winner

The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $900 CDN.

NOTE: Destination and accommodations are within North America and details will be provided at the time of winning the Grand Prize.

 

Given the price of flights from to Toronto to major US cities (New York, LA, etc) I wonder if anyone can use the $900 total figure to calculate where the show is?

In that new interview, Matt said they might do something in Los Angeles before starting the festival tour. Reckon the Toronto contest and that declaration are linked?

 

Meanwhile, I see a few (NME) picked up on the "flying objects" wish.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that the LA show Matt mentioned is the 8th May gig from the Toronto contest.

And from what he was saying it didn't sound like it's going to be a tour.. probably just a one off small gig.
