T2L tour was really the only time they cut back the piano section. Resistance tour arenas were 2 songs throughout and only the first part of the first European leg actually had a standing chance to get something other than USOE+Feeling Good.

It's true though, U2 are awful.

 

I guess it's understandable that you think they are awful now (I still enjoy their current output) but they certainly were not awful in the 80's and 90's. Especially TJT, Achtung, Pop.

I always felt Zooropa and Pop were underrated albums. There's some amazing songs on those albums even despite all the ranting about them, and certainly as albums they're better than the four that have followed.
