Did anyone else notice the weakness of Matt's voice? It sounded like he was nervous in the first lines, but then he recovered well.

Yes, his voice sounded thin and out of tune at the beginning. He was obviously very nervous. He recovered by the end of the song though.

First of all, congratulations to the band!

Secondly, nice performance, but..

The random "dancers" totally ruined it. They were a bit annoying. The whole performance was like an explosion, but rather visually than musically, which I think is a pity. They put too much effort in the effects such as pyro and made it look a but like a wannabe rock show where the visual effects hide the average musical performance. They tried too hard to fit in the Grammy environment putting on a rather pop show with a parody rock image. The final riff saved it although it would have been much better with the fire visuals. Too bad Muse haven't ever been nominated with Absolution or BHaR because then they would have put on a great rock show, like Hysteria at the Brits.

But overall, it was the best Grammy show put on last night right after the Arcade Fire performance, which was the best in my opinion.

But again, congrats to Muse!

Do Muse only have one song or something these days?

And what does this have to do with the Grammys?...

And to answer your question, no they don't ;) They have many believe it or not.

No, they have a few albums, the latest of which won the Grammy award.

Really? And they played Uprising? The one EVERYONE has bloody heard already from an album which apparently has good enough songs to win a Grammy?

Strange that. Oh wait. This is Muse. Even Katy Perry played something different.

Yeah, but this is the GRAMMYS, watched by drooling toob gluers all over America, aside from ACTUAL Musers, the likeliness of anyone in the US knowing any song other than Uprising is slim.

And as the song was from The Resistance and it was the number 1 song on US rock radio for months, it was the most suitable track.

You've pretty much contradicted yourself there. The likeliness of anyone in the US knowing any song other than Uprising is slim, but they won the Grammy for best album. Do they not deserve the album award then?

You've also verified my point in saying saying Uprising was number 1 on US rock radio for months, so why play it again? So yeah, they are famous for one song? It's just SO typical of their 'playing it safe' way of promoting themselves.

America heard Uprising. They liked it. This convinced them to probably listen to The Resistance. America loved it. They won because Uprising helped make The Resistance more popular.

The end.
