See you all in January for our special flight :D

I think you mean February 13th :)

In addition to Muse, there are actually several nominees that I'm happy about... Arcade Fire, Florence & The Machine, Broken Bells and The Black Keys... to name a few. Hopefully the show itself will have some decent performances.

OK, if anyone from the band is reading this, if you go, SHINE YOUR SHOES! And yeah, I meant for caps lock to be on.

Almost . . .

:chuckle:

truth. and it would be pretty :awesome: if they performed.

i wrote on the ass boat about the special edition of the sexy plane.

Yeah, it'd be awesome! Yay sexy plane! :awesome:

 on my brother in law when I told him Congrats on his Grammy Nom:

"Nomination? For What...?"

I told him...

"Nice! I didn't even know we were eligible. Third times a charm then!"

I love my family.

Wow, congrats!

Now I have something to look forward to in the middle of winter and crappy weather. :D Yeah, I was excited about all those too!

Oh darn, they were there? I was there at the Grammy noms also. I got to talk to Matt & Dom at the AMAs and Tom Kirk. :)

Here is my take on the 3 Grammy noms:

Their treatment in interviews after the AMAs peeved me to no end:

He's lead guitar in Lamb of God, they got nominated in Best Metal Performance for In Your Words. :D

Ok, yeah. I think I remember you telling me that before. Sorry :$ I'll have to go and check out some of their stuff.

Awesome articles. I love seeing the guys get some love in American print that clearly isn't a regurgitiation from other journalist. :awesome::thumbsup:

Now, I am really hoping the guys perform and show America, and the rest of the world who may not know, what REAL music sounds like. I will tolerate this show for the sake of Muse (and all the other great nods), but I can't promise to watch the whole thing if Beiber, Katy or Kesha get on stage :vomit:

Well done Muse.

... Am I the only one who thinks Resistance for Best Rock Song is a bit weird?

Probably not as weird as Undisclosed Desires for Best Rock Song, if that had happened.

I was thinking maybe because Uprising was out of the bracket they chose the next track. I don't think it's "rock" at all tbh.

Yes, it is not what I would call a "rock" song. But, I guess the Academy wanted to include them, and that was the best option. I don't think they will win any of the awards for Resistance, but I do think they have a good shot at best rock album for THE Resistance.

I think best rock performance will go to Ready to Start - Arcade Fire and I have no idea for best rock song.

One out of 3 ain't bad :)

Ready to Start is even less rock than Resistance.
