I was not here, unfortunately, when the board was crazy great genuine...is it it's members nowadays, or something else that has changed?

 

It's just gone so quiet. :'( The fact that the PMT wasn't posted in for over a month is unusual, the whole board was buzzin' once upon a time. I miss the fangirls. :LOL:

 

But there's lots of reasons why people don't come here anymore, forums aren't as popular now there's reddit and facebook and twitter and Tumblr. And a lot of fans were scared off by trolls apparently (I've been conducting research :chuckle: )

Yes, the others such as Twitter etc...I don't know why, but the board has some negativity, even when the album was out some argued it's not good, blablabla...I mean why are such ppl here ? To annoy the fans? :mad:

I know. I was just reading the Love and Relationship thread and am quite shocked how rude some people are. :rolleyes:

But yes, this thread was once the very meeting place of the maddest fangirls and one of the busiest places on the board :chuckle: which is why we are here, being a bit daft.

 

Ah the negativity... that will take a long bit of explaining and delving into muse board history and sociology :LOL:

Some people are still interested in what the band does, they just don't tend to like what they put out anymore. It's perfectly fine to not like everything they do.

 

Also, Queen? :noey: The correct answer is QOTSA's current lineup.

There was a stage where people would chat a lot amongst themselves, in between pics. I remember when I was modding I'd be in here telling people to quit talking and post a picture of Matt :LOL:

Maybe I'm getting old :eek: I remember the beginning-times of Forums, chats..when the internet was new...there was a common politeness (is his the right word?) that everyone knew about ...but here...ugh...I am still here because I love drooling and I like to know the latest news etc. but sometimes it is too much. :stunned:

I so know what you mean. I'm not even used to very polite people (the famous Viennese grumpiness :LOL:), but even I find it quite annoying here sometimes.

Hehe, I remember doing something likethis in spring before the albumw as out and it was very silent here, and then someone told me to stop...I was ralking to myself or singing a song, I ,mean writing the lyrics..hehe
