Tried sketching his mouth today; hard, due to his weird lip ratio but do-able :happy: My teacher suggested I use charcoal pencils instead of lead so I tried those out. It was a bit smudgy for the level of detail I want but got way better contrast than the grey lead :awesome:

I'll take a photo of my practices if I can remember :p

Thanks for all the support, by the way; it's given me a reason to do really well ;)

Sourcenrg yeah he was acting way silly. It was from oxygen 2010 and he came out onstage making funny faces and getting into his guitar playing in ways he doesn't usually. Can't explain it, but yeah, silly is a good word, lol.

Love all these pics :happy::love: I don't wander into this thread often enough, but when I do, there are always nice goodies awaiting me :LOL:

 

I didn't get many great pictures at my more recent gigs (I only brought my phone with me, and the lighting + my jumping around didn't work out so well :p) , however at the 2nd Emirates gigs, I happened to catch a nice series of shots while Matt was jumping all around the b-stage during the riffage after MotP :chuckle:
