  2. The earth has been proven to orbit the sun, so that's not really debatable.

Actually they both orbit the the center of mass of the system you study. It just happens, if you just take only these two masses, Earth's to be significantly smaller than the Sun's so it might be confusing. Sorry just had to do it #partypooper

Jobby ask them if they even remember TSP pls :D

  3. If that's the case, then there's 99% chances they're doing club tour :p . I was thinking doing both days, but after Kasabian were announced, I'm very tempted to see them. Which one is better, Leading or Leeds? I read somewhere that Reading is kind of crazy and gets out of control fairly easy

  6. True, but then again, if you do a couple of bad festival sets in the US while doing yet another club rarities tour in the US, that's a bit of a kick to the balls, especially after admitting the US tour was too short and saying you might come back.

    And again,Australia . :noey:

    I really thought you'd say US :p

  7. Given the fact that they sold most tickets in London/Paris/Milan I'd assume that there is their "deepest' fanbase

All of which were 6 night residency :p I don't know if these are the places or not where they have their deepest fanbase, but you talked quantity.

  8. I'm not very good at telling time signatures but seems like 4/4 to me. He was counting 22 measures in the chorus in the making of thing.

But 4 isn't a factor of 22 :p Or this not the way to measure? I thought it should be "smth, smth, smth, smth" then again the same pattern. Tried just now to count TSP, but it's confusing

EDIT: I'm talking about the chorus mostly and the verse, the riff obviously is in 4 beats

  9. I don't know how to tell if a song is 4/4, 5/4 etc I usually understand of how it repeats itself by hitting my foot on the floor  I usually count 8 beats (?), not 4 though. Anyway isn't TSP not an "ordinary" song by means of counting? I remember smth I saw on the making of Abso dvd, or am I wrong?

  10. Lol how should I know? :p I don't have much anticipation actually, I just hope I won't skip it like DM when I bum into it. Truth is I read somewhere couple months ago that Metallica is "The biggest cover band of Metallica". First I laughed then I felt just sad.

  11. Wut? DM is 8,468,246x the album St Anger is.

Neither of them are great though, but at least DM has some essence of Metallica (and less of that fucking snare!).

I'd say DM is the album with the least essence of them, as it seems that they made it because they "had to". Every work they've done ( even Lulu) is about testing their boundaries, even if you do or don't like each and every one. I love the old Metallica deeply and it is the reason I grabbed the gutitar but yet I find myself listening to Load and Reload more often. St. Anger just gets you this raw feeling. It obviously has great riffage and you can clearly understand how they felt when they produced it and the feelings James had back then. Also the DVD is just great, you have to think the album as a whole project to embrace it.

In DM other than my Apocalypse, all nightmare long and the "how can I be lost " part of unforgiven 3, is just meh for me.
