  1. Sooooo, very spontaneous gig last night (extra tickets released so went with two friends who can't make fridays 02 gig with 6 of us) and i had a lot to say. As a positive person, reading this forum for a few months and following the gig discussion had started to depress me, seeing the bands we have there is a definite sense of entitlement in here but i digress, muse put a ridiculous amount of effort and AMBITION into these shows Main points from last night 1)crowd was quieter admittedly but wasnt too bad, and the standing section ERUPTED by the end of Knights 2) stage show and effect was incredible, 7th muse gig and still wowed and i imagine the subsequent dvd will show it even better 3) FINALLY SAW CITIZEN 4) no videos convey just how BIG muse sound live 5) revolt put a massive smile on my face, genuinely shocked 6) uprising works much much better in a bigger setting then it did on psycho tour 7) anyone who hasnt seen muse before leaves genuinely staggered Overall great show, Sometimes I enjoy a more moshy crowd but last night was a fantastic balance and everyone just seemed to have a great time in their own respective ways and the balloon popping was a great interactive moment!
  2. biggest closet fanbase ever. like in terms of how much they proliferate social media, tv and radio and sales is not correlating with the sheer amounts of live tickets they sell. strange phenomenon!
  3. hmmm it varies, I mean this album had a lot more air play on uk radio than the 2nd law... I mean 5 nights at the 02 fully sold out is not something to be sniffed at, by any means. On another note, muse do put plenty of effort in, but the main songs do need to be played too. I am a huge huge fan, and my circle of friends range from casual to pretty big fans but out of all the bands we've seen, and we've seen a lot, the only band that I never have trouble convincing people to take time of work to go and see is muse. this is for two reasons, a) the show and b) the music. the shows are normally far above that of most bands of similar genres and the energy is a good mix. The music is also far more interesting and more importantly...DIVERSE. hell, I'd love to see Stockholm syndrome as much as redemption. ps) I have a friend who said muse were depressing and his favourite act was Eminem. I managed to get him to attend the 2nd law tour and he's now on his third show and they are now his favourite band in terms of actual music. That is the power of muse shows. They've just been so good for so long we just expect more
  4. Long time reader first time writer. Man there is too much negativity in this place. remember before the tour and people were worrying about matt's fitness? well he seems to be running around a hell of a lot on the footage so far ha. you forget how static a lot of front men are.
