Hey guys! I have some difficulties figuring out what Matt plays during propaganda's solo. I think the live version is slightly different than the studio version.
Even when it's right before my eyes (see video at 1m40) i can't find a way to play it properly :v Can someone help me please?

Anyone remembered when they posted a video of them rehearsing FAWY years ago?
Wasn't it the bridge of Citizen Erased though? (if you're talking about a soundcheck in Australia or something)

No Matter what list, seems like Hysteria is pretty cemented there now too.
Hysteria was rotated during parts of T2L and Drones Tour, i'm pretty sure it will be the same for ST Tour.
And who knows, maybe (I hope) they will begin to rotate TiRO and SMBH.

The solo still sounds really strange though.
So far TDS>TC>.....SH>DD for me.
On a side note, is it me or Matt is (kinda) trying to emulate the cry of a werewolf at the beginning of the song, hence the story of him changing into a werewolf ?

I recently came across the 98 EP version of Overdue. I never heard it before now because I mixed this version with 99 EP version, which is 98% similar to the Showbiz version and also because maybe Overdue is my least favorite song of the record to begin with.
BUT
hearing this completely new version of it comes as a very welcomed fresh air.
Also, i don't why but the bridge gives me something human-ish vibe

Does anyone know what (arpeggios) Matt is playing during the 0123 riff (5.30 minutes in) ?

Probably a bit soon, but does anyone think we can get a bass tab from the Instagram video? I can definitely hear some bass-track under Matt's playing.
I don't think so. You have this feeling of bass because of Matt hitting the lower strings but there is only an acoustic guitar here (and a constant beat somewhere too)

I may be kinda selfish but why are they giving people some "highlights" of the show (or at least highlights of the songs teased : the heavy part of Globalist, the intro riff of Psycho, which contains the very first notes of the show, the climax of Knights, which is the closer) basically for free?
I get that the movie will be streamed out somewhere one day but as someone who will see the movie (and then pays for it) it's a little bit jarring to know that EVERYBODY can see those highlights before the airing.
I probably shoudn't give a sh*t but hey what do you think?

Agree with the DD verse, the sustained guitar gave it more atmosphere and richness in sound.
Seems like he plays the sustained guitar near the end of IS instead, at least in Mexico

Okaay so I watched it twice.
I don't know if it's me but it seems that the mix on the livestream was very "dry" until Psycho. I rewatched it this morning and it sounds better overall.
I saw many people saying TC is better live. I'm gonna disagree here. I think it'll definitely improve in the future but the way Matt sang the final (solution) verse is really weird. Also the transition between verses and the main riff is kinda messy (like he cuts off his guitar too abruptly. I like the clean delay for the first "you've been bitten by" chorus.

While I think some songs like Fury or Muscle Museum sound better half-step down, this is not the case for Eternally Missed imo (maybe because verses are too monotone and low in the first place though i liked "The sun forgives the clouds" i don't know why). BUT the final verse with Chris singing and Matt ad libs is phenomenal.
I still prefer Space Dementia 2011 because the "without you" part is much cleaner.
The falsetto in bliss was great but the Mayan 2015 is far better imo.
This version of PiB was pretty weird with almost-8bit effect but whynot.
I was pretty surprised with Assassin because i was convinced they were gonna play Starlight (Matt baited me with those spanish chords at the beginning). No GOB tho
And finally it's so good to close the set with SS. The addition of agitated and yes please if the reason why you chose SS over KoC, apart from being an incredible song.

I've just watched a short clip of the end of TaB. The fact that Matt skipped some words (just "Burn" instead of "you will burn" for instance) definitely helped him a lot to "kinda" keep those high chest notes, i think.

There is also a certain way to play those chords. I mean in the last two years or so, it sounds to me that we can hear harmonics when he is strumming the first chord and the 4th.
I don't know if you understand what I mean but listen choruses
Some harmonics with the low G string maybe? I don't know how it works. I'm able to make it sometimes

That's not necessarily kinect is it? I'm sure I've seen similar stuff without using special cameras like kinect. Kinect is more necessary when you want other stuff, like the handler puppet thing, to interact with a person.
Mmmh yeah sure, I mean identical to effects used for UD, TaB, Blackout and SS (like someone said).
