  1. is that really the full show? 80 minutes, 16 songs, with 7 albums worth of music? is it a joke or what? what was the ticket price? it's Switzerland, so it must have been bloody expensive FYI, last night I went to see Springsteen at San Siro stadium in Milan: 3 hours and 45 minutes with no breaks, 36 songs. the man will turn 67 in a couple of months
  2. balance is everything random examples - Springsteen plays 3 hours or more, but in that time he fits only 27/28 songs - Metallica plays over 2 hours, but only does 18 songs - Foo's play nearly 2 hours and a half, and only do 21/22 songs! by contraxt: - PJ does 3 hours, with over 30 songs - McCartney does 3 hours, with 40 songs!!! - The Cure do 3 hours, with over 30 songs - U2, 2 and a half hours, 25 / 26 songs (perfect for them) with Muse, I'd love a 110 minute set with less fat. 20 songs, no "riffs and jams"
  3. I guess we all agre that around 20 real songs (ideal: 21/22) and around 2 hours would be fine 25 songs is too much for Muse, I think btw, are Prelude and IS prerecorded? Drones yes, of course
  4. anyway, running time-wise, the sets seem to have decent lenght. close to 2 hours. the last time I saw them (Turin 2013) the show was about 2 hours + 15 minutes, and to me it felt even too long...it had 25 full songs! http://www.musewiki.org/Turin_Stadio_Olimpico_2013_-_28th_%28gig%29
  5. judging by the above video, that San Diego appearance was a cross between a private soundcheck/rehearsal and a public dress rehearsal. still don't get its point, since the show had arleady been 3 months on the road. anyone knows what was played and how long did they play? setlist.fm has only this: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/muse/2013/valley-view-casino-center-san-diego-ca-2bdb8c5a.html if correct, that short setlist confirms that it was more of a soundcheck then a full dress rehearsal. weird that it's not listed on musewiki, though
  6. yeah, in fact what was the point of that so-called dress rehearsal? btw, are we sure it really happened? it's not listed on musewiki, for instance maybe it was just a private soundcheck/rehearsal, and some fans snuck in? (ps: Montpellier was 3 months prior ;-))
  7. in september 2013 they went this route: Charlotte > Duluth > Nashville > Pittsburgh > Philadelphia > Washington, D.C. > Rio de Janeiro > Denver > Salt Lake City > Las Vegas so, anything is possible...
  8. I don't know, but I think there are some very suspect gaps in the current N.A. schedule. so, what I think might happen: 1) a couple of US TV appearances at the very end of november (right after Thanksgiving, which is Nov 26....Matt will prolly want to spend said holyday with his son in L.A.) 2) a US TV appearance between Vegas and Vancouver, or a West Coast Xmas radio festival 3) (maybe) a couple more of US shows in the US, right before Chicago 4) a second Brooklyn show on jan 28 4) further N.A. shows in the first 10 days of February if the majority of the shows will sell well, I think they'll be back in N.A. in the summer (of course, Australia + maybe a return to Japan will end the tour in fall 2016) (and they are strongly rumoured to headline Glasto 2016)
