  1. So glad to see them for the second time on stage. They played two of my top favs: Map of the Problematique and Stockholm Syndrome. Blows my mind!!! That song is INSANE live. Toronto was awesome!
  2. awesome!!! Drones won!!! yeah Not that I am surprised. Just excited for the win!
  3. Awesome! I was getting bummed down by the lack of Toronto media attention to Muse prior and after the show... Suffering of post-concert blues. Nothing can help overcome live-Muse withdrawals than even more doses of Muse LOL Matt being interviewed wearing just a hotel robe.
  4. Highlight of the night! absolutely brilliant. Happy to be in Toronto yesterday night. But I enjoyed all the mainstream songs too. I have no problem seeing Muse try to be a crowd pleaser (and crowd these days seem filled with people who had barely listened to the performers' materials) I take that comment the other way. Like a child who is showing his favorite toy and is slightly afraid of rejection. But I think the crowd responded pretty well. Maybe just for the fun of seeing some musers like me going completely mental! What I wish is Muse do smaller gigs in North America made for fans ... there they can play all the obscure songs we want with no risk of ending with a silent response.
  5. Absolutely agree. Yesterday was an incredible night. To be honest, I was a bit skeptic at the beginning. It was 9 pm, and half the place was empty. But by the time psycho started the house was FULL... i mean it. Even the nosebleed section and the crowd was AMAZING. Lots of Muse-appreciation and hysteria And that setlist!!! MUSE was incredible. The 360 stage is insane. You can see them perform right in front of you. And I wasnt even that close because I wanted to have a good view of the screens. But almost at any spot you can see all players at any given time. It is definitely more intimate and there is more connection with the audience. Citizen Erased (!!!!!!!) <--- let me add more exclamations mark to that !!!!!!!! heck yeah! Apocalypse Please <-- my personal wish made true. Munich Jam Btw. Loved the crowd on the 1/4 GA section I was at. Hey guys/gals you were amazing! I almost felt Matt/Chris were pleased to perform for us (probably my imagination but I prefer to think it wasn't). I forgot which side of the 100s. But if you were in front of Dom when he was playing Undisclosed Desires.. this is for you! Thanks for rocking the house, musers!! whooohoo!!! Torontonians know how to rock!!!!! Even while playing the slow paced songs we were responsive. True musers! geeeee... what an unbelievable night!!! on a side note... I really liked X Ambassadors opening the night. Sad to see the house was still empty when they were performing but they know how to put a nice show. Great warming up!
  6. Thanks Dark. you're a love. No need to worry then... I'm going to my first TO concert and I hope they don't kick me out of GA because I have total plans to dance and clap and enjoy the concert. Most my friends believe it is the norm to stand still ... come on! This is rock!! I hope the crowd goes wild!!!
  7. So excited! I can't wait for the 16!! Hoping good weather continues.... I need to go and pick up pre-sale tickets and then line-up. Does anyone know if there are several entrances to GA in AC centre or if GA is divided by sections/barriers (besides the expected VIP/GA division)?
  8. My two cents and partly agreeing with the above poster. I hate to admit Muse is pretty much giving us what we (the majority) want. I have been obsessively watching compilations of past years live shows and I hate to see the deadly SILENCE North Am crowds reward those few rarities they include in their performance as opposed to Europe/some SAmer. that go wild as soon as they start the riff of the most obscure of their songs (not that they really do it often at all...). But then again... they seem to me a proud bunch aren't they? so what goes first the rarity or the crowd loving? . My first muse live concert is in a few days. Hey, people better cheer up properly or I'll start going berserk *ends rant* (btw, Starlight is my husbands fav Muse song *not a Muse fan as you can obviously guess but is psyched abt the upcoming concert. he loves the setlists... you go figure*)
  9. Happy new year! here you go... 1- Quote 3 songs you have discovered again in 2015 and which remain in head : - Stockholm Syndrome (my first Muse-crush sounds so nice in the album) - Small Print (pure awesomeness!) - Guiding Light (wow... Guiding Light + Aftermath are meant to be together) 2- 3 songs you used to love but you don't listen to anymore (in 2015): - Starlight - Follow Me (I miss you so much... maybe this year you can go back to my playlist) - Uprising 3- 3 songs you have listened to the most in 2015: - The Handler - The Small Print - Apocalypse Please 4- 3 best lives of the year (full show): no idea 5- 3 best songs live of the year: (judging by youtube only) - The Handler - Psycho (heck that was meant to be played live) - Supermassive blackhole 6- 3 best surprises of the year: - Muse tour set up and concept (I cant wait to see The Handler performed live!) - The Drones album - How awesome is to listen to Muse albums from start to finish instead of listening to selected songs. (you can tell now how amateurish I am hahahah) 7- 3 disappointments of 2015: - no second night in Toronto - I couldnt get seat tickets on the presale. - Almost non existent Muse merch in Canada even in specialized music stores. shame on them! 8- 3 importants dates of the year: - June * : saw The Handler vid for the first time while browsing youtube and fell in love with Muse all over again! - October 21 : got GA tickets for my first Muse live concert! - November 10: prepared a Muse atrium on my living room with all my new albums and Muse paraphernalia and decided to start living the way of a Muser. I know... I have a long way to go but you have to start anyway... 9- 3 wishes for 2016: - Longer shows (hear hear~!) - - I wish Torontonians give some love to Muse after the jan16 show. I felt so bummed when Quebec got the second night because they sold out first (actually, Toronto never sold out : - It would totally make my year to hear Map of the Problematique, Small Print, Supermassive blackhole or Citizen Erazed @ Toronto. 10- 3 things you'd like to say (10 is better than 9...) -Drones album made me re-discover muse. I used to have a selection on my computer but now I own all their albums. -I wish I could see Muse in Europe or south America... I've seen youtube vids and the crowds are INSANE!!! Time to start saving to live the real muse live experience!! -More Muse in the radio!!!
  10. wow.
