  1. First thing I noticed there was the BMW parked right outside. I wonder if Tim drives that, he seems like the type of guy that would.
  2. Fury's guitar tone isn't really that fuzzy. It only sounds fuzzy because Chris's bass IS running through a fuzz and that gives it all that tasty oompfh.
  3. Thanks for covering up the killbutton, now it truly looks like a spectacular piece of beauty. I'm not even joking.
  4. Except he DOESN'T use the sustainiac for PiB, he doesn't even have a guitar with both the sustainiac and FF in it. It is true though that he keeps his sustainers on for SMBH, but what does that have to do with anything?
  5. The problem is, Matt doesn't have any guitars with both the FF and sustainiac on them at the same time anymore, and I don't think he's ever had both turned on in any case either.
  6. He's playing the regular A string, so he's definitely running through an octave in the axe.
  7. You don't need to mess with setting up the midi for the treadle at all if you just have it toe up and then use PC's to switch between -1 and +1 octave, that's how my file is set up.
  8. What do you mean all on one setting? Don't you still need to change the octaves from +1 to -1 with program changes?
  9. Live is easy to do on your own because the patterns don't change like in the studio, its just the same pattern the ENTIRE song. If you want to play along to the studio that's alot more complicated considering the guitar is so low in the mix and all the instrumentals and such on top of that.
  10. When are you gonna wow us all with a clip of that SMBH patch
  11. So what kind of finish is it then exactly? Looking up aluminum strats on the interwebz only digs up strats with the shiny reflective aluminum finishes. And jesus they didn't exactly do a great job with trying to sound like MB. With a £1500 budget they could have just gotten an HD500X, a DSL40c and the MBC1. I guess you'd just have to be inside that room with them just like they said to fully hear what it sounds like, but otherwise, it sound's pretty poor.
  12. At this point with all the new proshot HD videos and photos of him using it I'm assuming its just fender's regular silver finish that they do on some standard models, only MB's isn't glossy and looks like a brushed rough finish. Here's a CS one http://www.themusiczoo.com/product/24451/Used-Fender-Custom-Shop-Heavy-Relic-70s-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar-Inca-Silver/
  13. With all of that work done im surprised they couldn't have been bothered to completely erase the cort logo, and probably position the sustainer switches further away from the other controls. Seems they didn't bother upgrading any of the hardware either lol. The bridge is the default ABR style with the tiny screw in post, and the tuners are the stock cort tuners too.
  14. How did you get your strap with a second button under the first one at the end of the tailpiece thing? Both of mine, deluxe and standard, came with only one.
  15. It's easy to get it from glossy as hell to a nice smooth satin feel though, I'm planning on lightly sanding the entire neck down on mine, hopefully getting rid of the ugly serial numbers and stuff on the back of the headstock too.
  16. I don't think the sound levels are what we should be complaining about, it should be the setlist so far as it is right now. Way too many songs from Drones were played
  17. Pics of the killswitch wiring? And you've got your strap at the same length as mine.
