Hate me if you want, but I think Explorers, Big Freeze and Save Me are all pretty damn good songs and I love that stretch of the album. I never skip them.

Sometimes I feel like the only one who likes all 4 songs that have been released and is expecting to like the entire album, no exceptions.
I say this as someone who's been a fan since 2001.

Why on earth do people think Chris recorded the "I'm gonna make you/break you/a fucking psycho" from Psycho + "drones" + "here come the drones" parts of Reapers in studio? He's never been featured that prominently on a track he hasn't written himself and those parts are obviously Matt.
Doesn't Chris do the background of the final chorus in Explorers? I know he does live (and quite beautifully) ... can't remember if it sounds like him or Matt on the studio track.

Someone on reddit posted a "cover" of what they think Defector sounds like and I've never listened to anything so bad in my life, lol.

I kinda wish Dead Inside had been track 2 (and every other track pushed back one to make a total of 13), and there could have been some kind of instrumental "Drones Overture" or something as the first track. Just guitar, drums and bass jamming out for a minute and a half or so. Kind of like an introduction to the musical style and themes of the album.

In about 3 hours and 45 minutes it will be Monday everywhere on Earth. I'm sure Muse are just waiting for it to be Monday for the people of Midway Island and then they'll give us a stream
After today's Game of Thrones episode being pretty much the best one they've ever done, if I get a Drones stream too it will be the most glorious of days.

Every album cycle I develop such a hatred for the muse fandom that, once it leaks, I stick around to make a few posts about what I think of the album, then I slink off for 2 and a half years again.

I personally think Revolt will be the obligatory GL/Big Freeze of the album. E.g. shite. Hope to be proven wrong.
But Big Freeze is great. It's in my top 3 of T2L.
