  1. I'm currently trying to haggle an AC30 owner by throwing my OC-3 into the deal. If I pull this off I may as well fucking retire. Oh and happy new year gear heads! Edit: That phrase takes on whole new meaning in Scotland and I love it.
  2. That BRIDGE Yeah you're probably on point with those two choices. Ross' unfortunate journey to an MB has been also been pretty entertaining for the wrong reasons (soon ). Not really a single moment though, more of a saga. What about when Jack from the English rock band Marmozets tweeted us to explain what a p90 was? I still don't actually know.
  3. Good god, I think that's what crashing through the roof of hell in a bathtub sounds like. That's Musetoan™ for me. That's what I think of.
  4. Yup it doesn't help with this sort of stuff that my memory is comparable to a paper colander. Got a few fields nailed down, but best moment has me stuck. I sometimes forget that there is more to this forum than K&T and the most excited we get is when someone figures out a new way to poke holes in their guitar or when we get an indication that Bs is, in fact, still alive.
  5. Yup OC-3 and fuzz seems to be a worse combination than tequila and quad-racing for some reason. It's fine though I'll be getting rid of the OC-3 soon I feel. I was thinking of selling it but judging by the comments on here it seems it'd keep my fireplace going nicely over the cold weeks to come, so who knows I may get use out of it yet.
  6. Merry Christmas K&T'ers. In danger of being that dickhead who followed gold with myrrh 2015 years ago I'll be following James' gift with my own offering. Before that allow me to pass on wishes of food, alcoholism and togetherness on this glorious day that, with any luck, will bring us lots more fancy shit to talk about on this board. Enjoy folks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fchHvKesTr0&feature=youtu.be
  7. Oaaaft. Thanks James. Lots of happy memories. If you watch really closely you can see the sweat of everyone in the front rows congeal into a small goat before hopping out the fire exit. No one really paid attention at the time but I thought it was quite odd.
  8. Usually I'd agree. I prefer Stockholm. But it's the classic wanting what you've not had affliction haha! I just want to mosh to the first New Born riff so bad.
  9. Awwwww James... I was so close in 2012, they had the roulette going round between new born and stockholm and it landed on the latter. Almost definitely not random but meh it still felt unfortunate Interestingly I have some troubles with the order of my FF and OC-3. Not so much with the sustainer, but the fuzz sounds really bad with them a certain way round (I forget which.)
  10. I see you Feeling Good and raise you Unsustainable. Nah I know what you mean. I've seen reapers twice now, so what I mean by that is that I'm not too bothered about them swapping it out. I only mention feeling good as I've not yet seen it live, obviously there would be preferable options! Still not seen new born
  11. Feeling Good/Globalist instead of Reapers... Hmmm. I've seen Reapers and it was great, I've still not seen Feeling Good live so I don't know if I'd be bothered if they swapped them out in Glasgow come April time. I'm still not a fan of the Globalist, I'd rather they spent 10 minutes of set time in earlier albums, but wouldn't we all? Re:Mercy, I think there was something about the festival atmosphere where no one was expecting the display they put on. At their own gig you kind of know it's coming, but I'm sure they'll find a way to make it just as impressive. After all, say what you want about Muse's new music, they still know how to put on a show.
  12. Madge Bishop? Wait, no. She doesn't play guitar. That's okay then. Just be wary. The line between insulting and not insulting #TheBru is hazier than a Glaswegian's sight after a night on the tonic. Also. Where the hell did Infinity go.. Genuinely up with my favourite QoTSA tracks. As a driving song its borderline dangerous.
  13. If by cult you mean every respectable Scot on Earth then sure. And this is exactly what I mean about choosing words carefully, james. Comparing #TheBru to a cheeky nandos is the kind of slur that earns a man a visit in the night from some unsavory characters. I can send you some documentation before your next visit, if you'd like. I watched that the other day actually. God that man's got it all figured out eh.
  14. I wish I'd been around then.. The gigs man.. I am sorry about that. Mind you, I'd swap you my CE for your Dead Star if you're up for it. If I figure out a way to quantify something like that, I won't have to work another day in my life. Such will be my legendary status in the mathematics community.
  15. That's really hitting home for me. I'm used to Stockholm being a mainstay in set lists as I got into Muse as Resistance was released (not the reason I got into them mind.) It's just always been played live, so the fact it's starting to disappear with the OOS material is scary. edit: saying that. Despite getting into it all a bit late, I'm 3/3 for seeing it live so hopefully my luck continues to hold. Wow. I'd have to ask my tutor about that. Instinct tells me that would be trying to divide something by 0. Another level up. The question makes no logical sense. The fact you're even trying to calculate it shows you've gone drastically wrong somewhere down the line. Whole thing scares me, really.
  16. Sign me up for group one and let me get back to you EDIT: I've also forgot to mention Jack White at the Hydro recently. I'll always be devastated never to have seen The White Stripes but nevertheless it was so incredible seeing him do his thing. The mosh to Steady As She Goes was totally unexpected but so damn fun
