  1. Amateur musician that just finished putting some found footage to some songs I recorded at home. One of the songs I posted an early version of before, I wasn't totally happy with it, so here it is again a bit different. Taking Too Long: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGvHqOJQc48&feature=youtu.be Disaster Movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyvlDoepQXQ
  2. Hey Haze! No plugins, just straight into my 8-track The lead is three voices in unison with some delay; decided as an aesthetic choice to 'exceed headroom' in the recording as a kind of sonic counterpoint to the rest of the piece which is just organ, bass and another little flute synth
  3. I am an amateur musician, finished recording a song today Hope you enjoy it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvGSXad1cgg&feature=youtu.be (Images taken from Flight of the Navigator for anyone that doesn't know it - excellent film, definitely recommended)
  4. Yeah, it's actually a screen grab of some footage on the river Mellte down in South Wales :) Easily the biggest drop I've run.

I'll check out Cumberbund asap then

  5. ^ also, is that picture you?

    Where from?

  6. No problem man! It's all about the track Cumberbund...

  7. Thanks for the Cleric recommendation. I checked out one of their songs today- it was pretty interesting. Heavy Neurosis influence (which is par for the course in a lot of slow metal) but also some Opeth-ish elements as well. Will definitely be checking out more of their stuff :)

  8. What was it exactly? Journo for a website/blog-type thing? Sounds good - just count yourself lucky to have had the chance to do some cool stuff
  9. Man, I think it's cool as it is! Don't get too strung up on unrealistic perfections or technicalities - it's not a glaring problem - or even a problem if you ask me. To me it's a characteristic of the feel of the piece/picture, which I think adequately reflects the (possible) feelings you were enduring at the time, re: job stuff. Also, sorry to hear about your job - hope you're good
  10. Sorry for posting a photo taken from my phone but I took this while in Ireland and I'm pretty happy with it.
