Shrinking Freakin' Universe.
Holy crap, the bridge after the second chorus.
-
Nine Inch Nails- Reptile should work nicely.
Muse song, I mean.
-
I think I may play Con-Science over a speaker at my house on Halloween. Any other scary-ish songs that would work for that?
-
Just trying to be helpful
I understand.
It's just that the thought of putting Madness over Citizen Erased...
-
-
ITT: Absolutely nothing past the two-page mark that relates to the subject.
-
It's not about headbanging or partying only. The sounds are heavy. They go really deep and dark. How they were playing around the couple of accords. Gradually increasing the amount of musical accompaniment. And finally, it sounds just like the process of expansion of the Universe. Like you can feel it. As heavy and... Fatal they are.
Can you stop being Shakespeare and speak proper, modern English?
-
What about ConScience? It's growing pretty heavy from the middle to the end.
I dunno, it's heavy, but not in terms of riffs or anything. It's not like the heavy you can headbang or party to, because it's literally just random distortion.
-
Especially Starlight! Was so clear!
actually, I initially thought Starlight was Showbiz on that.
-
Do you all hate me yet
Did you actually put Citizen Erased in the orange, and Madness in the purple?
-
Also, I know this sounds weird, but I'm slightly creeped out by Map of Your Head. Yes, Map of Your Head.
-
Glorious.
I used to think it was "Meh", but now I see that it's everything Invincible should have been.
-
IT'S HAPPENING
Edit: I am such an idiot.
-
I will never understand why everybody hates Sober.
Severely underrated.
woo necrobump
-
Sippe actually has a good idea there.
I would sound nice if he replaced the high chest notes with falsetto.
-
And it's not easier to hold mid range notes than high range ones?
The tough part is that the chorus is really high with indeed a lot of sustained notes, and the melody tops at Bb4 which is right at the top of Matt's chest range. Lowering it to A4 makes all the difference in the world.
...Alright, you win.
-
Also, making it a half step down would do nothing to make it less difficult. The tough part of Futurism is that Matt has to hold notes for a long time, and quickly transition to falsetto at some parts.
-
I'm not that fussed about Futurism, I'd rather hear Con-Science live.
Con Science live would be amazing as just a silent, haunting moment in the middle of the concert. It would be a great transition to some other big track.
-
They can definitely play it, but Matt can't sing it.
Well he CAN, but it won't sound good.
That was over a decade ago. There's no denying he can sing much better now.
-
I mean, when they played it at Reading Festival in 2000, it was... bad, to say the least. Matt couldn't hit the notes, the effects were off, and it just didn't go too well.
But, that was over a decade ago... do you think their skills have increased enough for them to play it again?
-
I just had such a brilliant idea.
Vocals+Lyrics of Dead Star
Instrumentals of Hysteria
-
Map of Your Head
i can't even
-
Supremacy:
-production of Survival
-instrumentation setup of Unsustainable
-vocal distortion of Micro Cuts
That is freakin hard to imagine
-
Basically, post about some way you would like songs to be blended to make a new song, based on each song's vocal style, lyrics, etc. to make what is, in your opinion, the perfect song.
For example
Vocals: Hyper Chondriac Music
Tune: Feeling Good
Instrumentals: Unintended
Lyrics: Hyper Chondriac Music
It doesn't have to be exactly that list though, you can make the categories whatever you want. (Guitars, buildup, etc.)
Which Muse song have you recently discovered or rediscovered the awesomeness of?
