  1. hey guys, does anyone know if this is likely to sell out early on? Or will tickets be available nearer the time? I've never bought tickets for the indoor stadium before so not sure how they work!
  2. Does anyone else think that the song Drones is such an odd way to end the album? I get what they were going for, and it is quite popular to finish an album with an instrumental/low key type track, but the execution of it is so weird. Like usually acapella songs are quite subtle whereas drones all the vocal layers are really loud making the song really in your face/jarring. Its just not an enjoyable end to the album for me.
  3. Jumping on the ratings bandwagon. Initial thoughts after a couple of listens: Dead Inside: 8/10 Psycho: 7/10 Mercy: 4/10 Reapers: 9/10 The Handler: 9/10 JFK/Defector: 8/10 Revolt: 6/10 Aftermath: 6/10 The Globalist: 7/10 Mixed bag, some wasted potential - good album though. BHaR>Showbiz>Origin>Abso>Drones>T2L>Resistance
  4. I'm a big fan of all of Muse's poppier songs - however I really don't like this. It's an OK song but it feels like a b side in terms of quality, muse can do better. Whoever said this is better than Madness is out of their mind haha
  5. I believe Psycho is going to be played on BBC radio 1. They've just said they are playing it twice in a row in 10 mins time. So not too offensive apparently
  6. I honestly think the lower than expected sales come from the general reception to The 2nd Law. The singles didn't chart particularly well, and of course there will be us diehards who will go along to most gigs but a lot of the audience will be made up by casual listeners who will go based off music they've heard form the band such as the singles. I don't think many casual listeners will have heard much of The 2nd Law. Take Coldplay for example - they sold out at the emirates last year, I think a lot of that was down to extremely popular singles which were at the forefront of the casual listeners' mind. Coldplay is a bit different too in that it is not a full on rock group such as Muse, and has a lot more mainstream listeners and have more of an audience to come and watch their shows - as someone said before many Rock bands aren't selling out these day Sory for the rant Edit: Just seen the post above explains what I'm saying basically
