Really funny how he's feeling a bit "what do I do now?" right when the 2nd part of the song begins and he's playing nothing. Compare to how he's rocking the hell out of the guitar with Chris during Rock Werchter. ...

I remember there was an interview before Drones release in which Matt said Muse's only direction for concerts could be "musicianship" (given they had done the hell out of stage ideas). I wish.

What? Do you sing the Micro Cuts chorus an octave down? Madness is no mistery to sing if you dodge the "I need to love" parts somehow(which might not sound too bad if one were to play an acoustic or a stripped down version).

Yeah right. It's "semi-realistic" that they'd play all 5 of these at the same concert. You'd be lucky to have 1, and I don't think the last 2 will appear at all, given how Matt's voice has been lately.

I'm not nitpicking. But I thought there was a "I WANT THE TRUUUUUUUUUUTH" towards the end that is a falsetto.... -
I know there is this performance of Host + TiRO in which Matt does that, but it's not very recent.

The "real" video is what got me into the song in the first place . I used to think the song was pretty bland before watching it.

I think Dead Inside from that gig is its best performance so far as well. Although neither were played that much yet

It also gives Matt time to rest his voice. Specially when they're doing as little riff outros as ever this tour (compare to TR-era, in which they did a lot of outros besides Helsinki + never-ending UD intro )

JFK + Uprising doesn't even make sense as an encore opener, much less mid-set when the speech would be far more anticlimatic.

Well, they seem to be shuffling Mercy and Starlight around the set since the festivals began, so maybe they are still trying to figure it out.

I can't believe they shoved Uprising mid-set for this encore. EDIT: I mean, why not do something much better if they even bother changing it.

Much better than Starlight, honestly. It's a bit just a bit heavier, specially towards the end.

Aren't you mistaking the effects for his voice? His falsetto is pretty nice tonight, compared to previous gigs, but he also seems really tired overall.
