  1. Well ticketmaster says 7:30 PM, the facebook event says 7PM, the arena that hosts the event says 7:30PM-11PM If I got there by 8:20, I'm guessing I'd be in time for Muse ?
  2. So when does Muse generally take the stage/how long does their setlist last ? I'm a bit short on time and really can't be bothered with the opener so I want to make sure I arrive close to their opening song
  3. This is pretty awful. In fact it just downright sucks. Jeez when that 4 to the floor electronic drum beat kicked in at 0:16 combined with the extremely corny vocals I nearly choked. Matt seems to have finally completed his mastery of combining horrible lyrics with a total lack of melody after his initial attempts on Resistance and 2nd Law. This really is just some Starlight/Follow Me rehash, except even crappier than Follow Me (who'd have thunk it). And the synth in the choruses, while not terrible per se, is really just a Muse cliché that's been done a bllion times before and a billion times better as well (Apocalypse Please, Stockholm, Bliss, Falling Away With you, KoC, even Starlight goddammit). Matt sure has changed a lot from the Kurt Cobain/Rachmaninoff/RATM fanboy he used to be
  4. The main riff is the chorus riff. Just listen to the intro, the riff always flows into "your ass belongs to me". And the verse riff is probably the most boring and uninspired riff they ever put out. So basically they just constantly want to jump to the main riff because that's pretty much all the song has to offer.
  5. It's stupidly long because of how little variation there is. For instance Newborn is bit longer but it's also a very dynamic song, with the intro, main riff and a much more inspired verse (nevermind the solo and arena-sized chorus). With Psycho I always feel like they're really always just rushing back to the riff : intro jabbery - riff - short verse - riff - weird breakdown thing - riff - extended riff - moar riff - ... They followed Grohl's advice by "don't bore us get to the chorus". This song would've been seriously better as like an intense 2:40 minute (Nirvana/Pixies - style) song, would've also fit the theme better. Seriously the choruses before and right after the guitar breakdown feel soo redundant Yeah that was pretty much my favourite part of the song as well. They should've gone more down that road for the guitar solo instead of that mind-numbingly boring octave thing.
  6. Doubt it'll get much airplay. It's stupidly long for no reason, without a great catchy hook to speak of. For me the best part in this song is actually the very ending where he sings and plays the same note, it's the closest to OoS they get in the entire song. So that's roughly from 5:19 onwards
  7. Yes, because hard rock by definition means good music . See maybe calling it a turd is a bit too much but I figured a lack of subtlety is apparently appreciated here
  8. Man I really wanna go but none of my friends particularly like Muse and it's 90 euros for a one day ticket so fuck that too
  9. Hmmm so not that cute apparently :(
