  1. I think half of this is also up to fans interpreting Matts statements all too positive. The 'next time' from Assassin obviously was for the next couple of gigs. From Matts perspective he delivered on the promise. He never made explicit what 'next time' he was referring to. It's the fans that have the hope/expectation he meant Belfast. Just like the Defector/Brussels statement. The fan says: Play Defector!. Matt says: Brussels, we play in Brussels. So the fan hopes/expects he'll play it in Brussels the next week. Whilst from Matts perspective he just meant to say that they've played it in Brussels already (last year). Sure there's situations where they've just plain didn't deliver on their promises. But a part of it is also fan expectation/interpretation.
  2. If there's complaints about Muse stretching time because of changing guitars, you should never go to a Mumford and Sons concert. I saw them last year, and everytime they switched a guitar it took them at least a minute, if not more. They also bantered a lot more, with one exceptionally long break with one of the band members trying to come up with dutch football players that played in the Premier League. Compared to that, Muse plays a really tight show with one song following the other. And barely any banter, which to me is a good thing.
  3. Fairly happy with two gigs Sunburn Unintended New Born Bliss Plug In Baby (x2) Feeling Good Apocalypse Please Time Is Running Out (x2) Stockholm Syndrome Blackout Butterflies & Hurricanes Starlight (x2) Supermassive Black Hole (x2) Map of the Problematique Knights of Cydonia (x2) Uprising (x2) Resistance Undisclosed Desires (x2...) Guiding Light Supremacy (x2) Madness (x2) Panic Station Survival Follow Me Animals Liquid State Unsustainable Isolated System (x2) Dead Inside Psycho Mercy The Handler The Globalist
  4. As they've been changing the encore a bit since the Bercy Gigs, I would actually really like to see this: (main set) Uprising Knights (w/ MWAH) -- The Globalist (Drones) -- Mercy (with riffs) Take a Bow
  5. So after two nights no OoS they play PiB CE and Bliss. Though the length of the setlists hasn't improved over the US setlists, the rotation most definitely did. And it's all for the better. Muse has a great catalogue of seven albums, so they can and should play more of them.
  6. In stadiums they played 24 full songs. In arena's they played 20. That's all excluding filler like Isolated System/Drones/Monty Jam/etc. Excluding all the filler this tour they generally play 16 full songs. So comparing to a stadium tour is a bit unfair. Though seen as they probably won't even do a stadium tour with Drones, all the more reason to go all out on the arena gigs. And play a bit more then for a festival. You know, like they would usually do.
  7. Last time they played Ziggo Dome they played 20 full songs. Would be a big difference from the US setlists, but I still do hope they will play this kind of setlists in the EU tour.
  8. Mojo just tweeted there'll be some tickets for sale for the three gigs this afternoon from 16:00. It's not much, around 70 standing and 70 seated per gig. But it's something.
  9. There are no meet&greet tickets, there are VIP-tickets, but they don't come with a meet&greet. However, you're in luck, as this afternoon at 16:00 there'll be some tickets for sale for the Amsterdam gigs.
  10. For the European tour Muse doesn't have a support act and just plays this for a 3 hour show: 1. Psycho 2. Dead Inside 3. Hysteria 4. Map of the Problematique 5. Citizen Erased 6. The 2nd Law: Isolated System 7. The Handler 8. Agitated 9. Assassin (GOB) 10. Supermassive Blackhole 11. Madness 13. United States of Eurasia 14. Apocalypse Please 15. Reapers 16. [JFK] Defector 17. Uprising 18. New Born 19. Time Is Running Out 20. Aftermath 21. The Globalist. (Drones) Encore 1: 22. Mercy 23. Plug In Baby 24. Survival Encore 2 25: Take a Bow 26. Micro Cuts 27. Knights of Cydonia
  11. Is it me or are they really late with announcing supports? The first shows in Paris are in two weeks. The Cologne show a good week later isn't even sold out yet. Announcing the support would help in ticket sales right? Here's hoping they won't have any support and Muse just plays for three hours. Though that's still probably not going to happen...
  12. Great setlist. Muse would probably would still want to play Madness/Resistance/Feeling Good/Undisclosed Desires though. So, to make it even more realistic, I would put Bliss and Plug in Baby in one spot and Hysteria/Map too. Then there's room for Madness and one of those other more duller spots.
  13. I think if Muse really would want to blow away the Wall they should've just played Drones from start to finish. That way the whole concept-album would play out as it was intended...
  14. I've only seen Muse once at their stadium gig in the Netherlands. If they would play the same set as yesterday in march (three years after the stadium set) then the only 'new' old songs I would get would be Hysteria and Apocalypse Please. Too bad that I'm guessing those songs are the ones that will get rotated and songs like Undisclosed Desires/Time Is Running Out/Starlight and possibly even Isolated System will be staple... However, I'm very keen on the new album and look very much forward to seeing Reapers/Psycho/Globalist and still hoping they will do Deflector.
  15. I'm thinking/hoping they will do Drones in full album order.
  16. I think the presale tickets were sold out around 9:02am last friday.
  17. Me hoping this will happen on the Drones World Tour Set 1: 1. Dead Inside [Drill Sergeant] 2. Psycho 3. Mercy 4. Reapers 5. The Handler [JFK] 6. Defector 7. Revolt 8. Aftermath 9. The Globalist 10. Drones Set 2: 11. Supremacy 12. Supermassive Black Hole 13. Dead Star 14. Hysteria 15. Citizen Erased 16. Assassin 17. Animals 18. Time is Running Out 19. Madness 20. Starlight 21. Knights of Cydonia Encore: 22. Take a Bow 23. Plug In Baby 24. Stockholm Syndrome I think the concept of Drones is just asking for a full playthrough, and they could (and should) really make a big show out if it. Then continue the set, I think it's an OK mix of staples and personal favorites. The ending block of the regular set with Tiro/Madness/Starlight is a tad too mainstream, would prefer a Map of the Problematique/Futurism/Micro Cuts in between. But gotta keep it a bit realistic. Still, I guess it's a tad too long (especially considering both Citizen and Globalist is played), this comes very close to my perfect setlist for the Drones World Tour.
  18. At the stadium gigs of the 2nd Law Matt would be all over the catwalk in many songs. I'm expecting that with this 360-set up they will be expanding on that. I wouldn't worry about only seeing them twice on the go-around, I'm expecting them to be all around.
  19. Just got lucky I guess, at 9:00 refreshed the ticketmaster page and managed to get three standing tickets. With the captcha it was sheer luck also. Those things are unreadable.
  20. I've got standing tickets! Will be the second time to see them, first time was Amsterdam Arena. Though the sound wasn't that bad where I was standing, I'm hoping that Ziggo will have great sound
