  1. Panic Station is a good song showing that the band doesn't take themselves too seriously.

Dig Down is a bad song from a band (singer) that sounds like they take themselves way to seriously.

    Agreed.

  2. Where can I listen online? If I don't like it, I'm not buying it. If it's on a future album I'll own it then. If not, I won't feel I've missed anything.

  3. Sooooo there's a chance I might be in London on Friday/Saturday...

Y'all know what I'm getting at. Should I pop round Air?

    (or is that weird)

(and are they even still there?)

    (does anybody know)

If you're going to be in London anyway, why not? They may not be there but you could ask the staff if Muse were recording material for a new album.

Hadn't thought about that before, guess it could be possible. Three new songs on a greatest hits album would be a bit much though, no? I could only see them doing one, maybe two. Either way though, new stuff is new stuff :awesome:

  4. Hey! I never thanked you for the ticket afterwards. (I'm fangirling here - shock horror) I actually got a full on stop, smile and squeezy handshake from MB. Even after copious amounts of "the thing" he had strangely soft hands. Maybe he should play his guitar more.

    Er... remind me.

  5. Fucking hell, Bing's pretty good for however old he is.

    He certainly is! :D

I will get excited when they announce they are working on a new album. I was lucky to see them last year and the year before so I'd rather they play a few places they left out on the Drones tour and write and record new material before embarking on another major tour.

  6. The British are notorious for knocking down anyone who becomes very famous. Craig David and James Blunt are two highly talented musicians it became fashionable to hate. I think it's the same with Muse. I don't know whether this happens on other countries.

  7. I'd love it is Muse did an acoustic album but I'm not a big fan of hip-hop. I do have Lauren Hill's solo album which is superb.

Yeah, why should Americans give a shit about Brexit? I'd like to think Matt and Dom would have voted for the candidate who wasn't racist and misogynistic but I won't lose sleep over wondering who they did vote for.

  8. They did 132 shows in 15 months if wikipedia is correct. Averages out to like 9 shows a month but at times it was a lot more than that. I really doubt they will increase their number of dates even more.

What I was thinking of was a year extra of 4 or 5 shows a month to give more people a chance to see them but I think all the pros and cons of this have already been discussed here.

  9. In Spotify, I don't have the premium version so I get ads. One of these ads were advertising Spotify premium and a part of it sounded a lot like Muse. It starts with the talk about Spotify premium and then cuts to a concert with the end of a guitar riff. A voice a lot like Matt's says "Thank you!" and then a few drum cymbals signify the starting of another song and then ends.

(By the way the ad is only sound)

I haven't heard it because I rarely use Spotify but recently signed up for the 60-day free trial of Premium.
