Meh, not my least favourite Muse gig.
Stage was great, particularly during Supermassive, TIRO and Mercy, one of my fave Muse productions I've seen and miles better than the World Tour one
Jimmy fucking Jam never thought I'd see you, you sexy devil
Map reinforced why it'll always be my #1 <3
Crowd was surprisingly great, think even Matt was pleasantly surprised 'cause he got really into it until near the end when the usual auto-pilot comes in
Overall, I'd give it 6.5 salty confettis out of ten.
Any videos of Jimmy jam?

I feel they're doing themselves such a disservice with these sets. 2/3 extra songs would make a marked difference.
-
Have they considered collaborating with any other artist before, or have they ever been approached by another artist wishing to collaborate?
-
i think the license on his music has ran out, no credit needed (legally) even stuff like space dementia is full of Rachmaninov progressions...
Thought that. For their own sakes I think they should come out and say it though, no way they can try and pass it off as original.

Did they credit Elgar??
-
I dont think Globalist sounds like Explorers, sounds more like USoE
The globalist sounds like Elgars nimrod

A few that we know of yes!
So a leak is imminent?
-
Have people got the album already?
-
Did the person with the copy give out any info?
-
The comparisons with One and Hendrix make me think it'll be a clean guitar sound with hammer ons and pull offs.

Will try and find it, but it was during the XFM days. Famously was probably an over exaggeration, but I remember seeing loads of fans being "offended" by it when a few found it on twitter.
Yeah they accidentally played Muse's version of Feeling Good. Ricky and Steve didn't like it and Karl I think thought it was 'alright'. But I do remember them playing plug in baby as well

There's an old interview somewhere in which Matt says Palestrina's Benedictus is one of his favourite pieces of music

Just read that Italian one, not much new, my translation was very poor. Said they would be in Italy in March, in Milan for about a week, the stage setup for the tour will allow them to get closer to the crowd. Chris says there are some similarities between The Globalist and Citizen Erased, in particularly the guitar.

nice

how long until the gig starts?
-
I doubt they'd be doing anything with Dudamel/ L.A. Phil. tbh. Probs just met him after a concert.
-
New interview coming soon, Chris' favourite song on the album is The Handler, touring the states after summer and european arenas early next year.

Does anyone know if the whistling corresponds with the violin solo extract the Italian guy posted, or even if it fits in to the snippet we've heard?

I remember seeing something on twitter about a week ago about drones listening/release parties in some cities in south America, I'm pretty some of the dates were before the album is released. I can't find the tweet again, my memory of it is pretty vague but I think it mentioned it was in collaboration with Warner. I could be completely wrong but it did seem quite official.

At least tomorrow we'll get song descriptions
What time does it start at tomorrow??
-
Is this gig going to be broadcasted on radio?
-
Nah, wasn't that great at Leeds or Reading. Glasto '04 still hasn't been beaten imo.
Not sure if anyone's seen this version of Invincible before, I sure as shit hadn't. Mix isn't great but it's worth a shout for best performance, definitely my favourite intro with that bit from 0:40 to 0:55 <3
I'd have to say this one is my favourites-https://youtu.be/c8dRsg5KezY?t=56m47s
