  1. It's only a matter of time until Guiding Light returns and replaces something like the Handler. Soon it will be: Psycho Dead Inside Hysteria Plug In Baby Resistance Supermassive Black Hole Starlight Feeling Good Munich Jam Undisclosed Desires Guiding Light Revolt Time is Running Out Uprising The Globalist Mercy Knights. The horror.
  2. Well it's good to see AP and Reapers back. Don't understand why Resistance is sticking around though. It's a minuscule step in the right direction. Edit: I swear they're going to put every song in their discography after JFK except Defector.
  3. Realistic what the Euro tour will turn up like [Drones] 1. Psycho 2. Reapers 3. Dead Inside 4. Map/Bliss 5. Rarity Slot (CE/Uno/MM/Assassin/Dead Star/Micro Cuts) 6. Hysteria/Resistance 7. Isolated System + The Handler 8. Supermassive Black hole 9. Prelude + Starlight 10. AP/Eurasia/FG (Space Dementia might pop up once, wasn't it soundchecked?) 11. Munich Jam 12. Madness 13. Undisclosed Desires 14. JFK + Defector/Revolt 15. Time is Running Out 16. Stockholm Syndrome ---------------- 17. The Globalist ------------------------ 18. Uprising 19. Mercy 20. Knights
  4. DI > Album UD > Madness >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Live UD. Album UD is brilliant, everything just mixes together really well. But live it's a complete joke. Don't really understand their mentality in keeping it, it's not exactly like it's a rousing crowd pleaser or anything.
  5. Could Matt even deliver TaB these days? If he could though it would sound mega. Stick Knights back up in the midset and have TaB as the closer. Ideally rotate/KoC/TaB as closers but I don't think they'll ever drop Knights. He could do his whole walk abouts thing during the first half too because it has basically no guitar until halfway in.
  6. Taking into account all that's been said I reckon Europe will probably look something like: (Drones) 1. Psycho 2. Reapers 3. Dead Inside 4. Map 5. Rarity slot - (Fury/MM/Showbiz/TaB/SFA etc) 6. Isolated System + Handler 7. Hysteria 8. Supermassive black hole 9. Prelude + Starlight 10. Citizen Erased/ New Born 11. Apocalypse Please/Eurasia (with a few appearances of Feeling Good) 12. Munich Jam 13. Madness 14. Undisclosed Desires 15. [JFK] + Defector (?) (maybe revolt) 16. Time is Running out 17. Uprising 18. Stockholm Syndrome ---- 19. Mercy 20. Knights maybe 20 is pushing it, and CE/ New Born before the piano section is optimistic.
  7. This is pretty much Muse's problem. They're know for their lighter, poppier songs and 85 percent of arenas are filled with people that are purely their for Starlight, Madness and Uprising. I guess what it is coming down to is that Muse don't care if they lose the 15 percent of fans that are dying for literally 1-2 rarer songs, because it is the 85 percent of lighter fans that are filling their arenas and singing along to their lighter songs. Muse are obviously a band that feed off crowd vibe, why make the effort to bring out a rare song only for your crowd to stand there dumbstruck playing on their phones? When they can easily get a huge reaction out of a song like Uprising? There just isn't a whole lot of room in the US scene for rock music, and that's why Muse are struggling to get their heavier/deeper stuff known. It's weird that this is happening after the momentum they gained. Coming off the T2L tour and the Psycho/Festival tour, it's really weird that they plummeted like this at this point.
  8. Wasn't there some BH&R gig where they opened with Apocalypse Please and 2/3 other piano songs? Thought that would be interesting to open up with the piano section instead of having it in the traditional midpoint. I could just be making up stuff though idk. Edit: Wow that run, then AP way down later in the set Damn, that's 7/16 songs where the piano is used, these days were lucky to break 3 songs with piano.
  9. Sydney night 1, melb night 1 and brisbane night 2 iirc. Eurasia/Sunburn was an amazing piano duo, especially coming off CE.. Shame they probably won't ever bring back two piano songs.
  10. Idk if Australia will be the best. On T2L tour most of the Euro stadiums and even some of the American arenas got better sets than Aus. Hell, the US got Dead Star and Micro cuts and Australia didn't. But even so, Japan will be the best. Dude, Sydney got B&H on the last tour, and B&H, CE, Sunburn, Map, Bliss, New Born and Stockholm on TR tour. Sydney isn't even that bad
  11. Was the first American leg really all that bad though? From what I remember Map/Hysteria and New Born/Stockholm were all making appearances as well as two piano songs with Eurasia/Sunburn. Unless I'm forgetting something that's pretty good going for America.
  12. Saw three of these last tour On a related note that T2L performance of Micro cuts is incredible. Man, T2L tour really is underrated - good setlists, Matt was at his peak vocally and the stage design was interesting without being awkward (TR) or over-the-top (drones).
  13. They finally got New Born right this year, proper tempo and Matt actually playing the piano intro. But of course Muse decide to drop it, and when it comes back it'll probably be slowed right down again.
  14. Wow SFA? Where did they mention that? That's a pretty random song to bring back but I guess it could sound alright with Morgan doing the piano bits. Doubt he'd even attempt the "our souls will be exhumed" part though.
  15. 1. Psycho 2. Dead Inside 3. Interlude + Hysteria 4. Plug In Baby 5. IS + Handler 6. Resistance 7. Supermassive Black Hole 8. Prelude + Starlight 9. Feeling Good 10. Munich Jam + Madness 11. Undisclosed Desires 12. Revolt 13. Time is Running Out 14. Uprising 15. The Globalist 16. Mercy 17. Knights
