I just remembered how when Webster got SS they managed to drop the Micro Cuts riff outro which had been played at all the UK gigs... because you know, they didn't want to alienate the casual American audience or whatever. Oh, Muse.

NYC got Bliss, AP, New Born, and The Groove. Glasgow got Bliss, Uno, Hyper Music, and Agitated.

And of course, we remember what happened the second they set foot in the US with NYC... The crowd was great, but the setlist really should've been better.

Map has been played exponentially more in the US than CE over the last 6 years, and most of the technology seemed to actually work today. CE was last played in Toronto in 2004, while Map has appeared every time since release.

Still such a ridiculous notion. I struggle to even justify supporting them with $80 for a chance to get a good gig any more, despite being able to afford it. Maybe I'll end up in Toronto for the next tour. That way they'll definitely stop giving the city special treatment; the second I show up the chance for rarities immediately tanks.

Better than other cities' zero. The only way they can sort of put any damper on this is by playing Revolt instead of Reapers.

Ditto. Map sounded really great in Chicago a few days ago, but the distinct lack of crowd bouncing did take away a bit from its usual magic.

Toronto got Dead Star last time (and didn't even lose the NB/SS slot). Micro Cuts was Montreal. Either way, as a Torontonian who only went to night 1 last tour and was in Chicago this time, the butthurt is real.
