  1. Resistance IS a good song if you can get over the "it could be wrong" part...I can't... I understand the hate for Survival and Unsustainable even though they are my favourite on T2L...So, it's ok Exoman ;-)
  2. Big Freeze - very surprised...I tried to listen to this song three times in a row so I'll digest it more and I ended up listening 6 times - it rocks...I did the same thing with Liquid State but nothing happened...But this is how I finally started to like Explorers and appreciate Save Me more...But Liquid State is still bad...bad...bad...bad...
  3. Butterflies, TaB and CE are in my top 5, so I'd like them all to appear on the stadium tour... Butterflies an Hurricanes - for me the best song ever - my favourite - amazing musically, I dig the vocals and lyrics, piano solo etc...etc...I love that song - and it's very good live... Take a Bow - amazing song, in my top 5 - and one of the best closers Muse have (together with SS and Survival and IMHO would-be New Born) - it works great live - HAARP is unforgettable - but I like it a little less then Butterflies... CE should be played, it's my second favourite Muse song, it's soooo great, I hope it's going to be back on... Resistace vs. Guiding Light...Well GL has got a good beat, great sounds (esp. that bass ! and delayed guitar), and Matt's vocal style I like but somehow it's not an amazing song together - solo is shite, etc...Resistance too has a great potential - great intro and verse, great ending - but for me it's all destroyed by "it could be wrong" sequence...Typical for TR album IMHO - great potencial but some parts aren't my cup of tea...shame every song on TR has this thing for me - the only exeption is Redemption...So, I'd rate Resistance higher then GL somehow, but it's not a big step... To the topic - Animals and Follow Me
  4. Even bigger is that you haven't got Megalomania there ! Such a powerful song !
  5. So what, I don't like Exo (part 1 and 2 - part 3 is actually good) too - compared to other Muse stuff...And I love classical music, I listen to classical music maybe even more than rock/indie music, so it's not that I don't like that style...I just think that it isn't that good. It's full of themes and clichés that are in movie scores etc...It's good, but not for Muse standard... And for the record - Knights of Cydonia is a hell of a song when it comes to harmonies - the first half has a pretty advanced key shifts (is that the word in English ?) - and it has got balls and two top10 Muse riffs, so I don't get it that someone gives it a rating that low...And production of KoC is IMHO the best together with TaB and Starlight on BHaR...

Big Freeze 4,5/10 12. Liquid State 1/10
  7. Supermassive - shit solo on the record :-( and I really miss his live guitarwork on the album version...But I love it ! Invincible is cool, especially the vocals in "during the struggle" and the ending. But I get you probably - it's a song I rarely listen to and it's full of clichés - especially the lyrics (don't give up the fight, you'll be all right ) But it has this Butterflies and Hurricanes/Survival/Knights mood and meaning that I like about Muse, so it is one of my favourites but the more I listen to it, the less am I impressed...
  8. To the topic: FOLLOW ME...I didn't like that song at all - arrangement, lyrics - but seeing it live made me change my opinion - he put so much emotion to his singing I nearly cried, it was amazing...On the record, I didn't believe Matt but seeing him singing this live changed everything about this song - now it's one of my favourites on T2L, I only wish it was longer... And a question: they were all about that this song was challenging before the electronic arrangement and that it didn't work, but it's supposed to be fully recorded (the original version), right ? Do you think they'll release it as a Christmas present or ever ?
  9. You're very happy these days, aren't you ? :-) ;-) Now: (sorry for top 13, it's for Survival ): 01. Butterflies and Hurricanes 02. Stockholm Syndrome 03. Citizen Erased 04. Plug in Baby 05. Hysteria 06. Bliss 07. Take a Bow 08. Unintended 09. Time Is Running Out 10. Apocalypse Please 11. Space Dementia 12. Knights of Cydonia 13. Prelude + Survival I'd put also Blackout (live), Megalomania, New Born, Supremacy, Starlight (occasionally), Muscle Museum (especially live during Abso tour), Showbiz, Dead Star, Uprising, live SMBH etc...
  10. Cool list - The Groove has such a great riff... Mine is so hard to put together because there are songs that are great on album but I'm usually listening to live concerts - about 12 in my Ipod - so I need to separate live from studio to be objective... STUDIO: 1. Butterflies and Hurricanes (all versions) 2. Plug in Baby 3. Hysteria 4. Apocalypse Please 5. Unintended 6. Citizen Erased 7. Space Dementia 8. Stockholm Syndrome 9. Starlight 10. Megalomania LIVE: 1. Stockholm Syndrome 2. Citizen Erased 3. Bliss 4. Time Is Running Out 5. Hysteria 6. Knights of Cydonia 7. Butterflies and Hurricanes 8. Take a Bow - Wembley 07 and 2010 9. Muscle Museum 10. Supermassive Black Hole But you know - so much others to put there - Studio versions of ToaDA, Ethernally Missed, Sunburn...Live versions of Small Print, MotP, Uprising (great song both live and studio, just not my top 10), Micro Cuts...Well...it's hard...
  11. Yeah, I know....But they didn't play it in my country and didn't on any broadcasted gigs (like Glasto, Teignmouth, Reading) apart from Wembley. On BHaR tour they played it far more often...Yeah, make it more frequent is a better thing to say :-)
  12. 1. Butterflies and Hurricanes 2. Citizen Erased (especially live) 3. Plug in Baby 4. Hysteria 5. Stockholm Syndrome 6. Bliss (live 8, Hullabaloo) 7. Blackout (live Wembley 07) 8. Space Dementia 9. Take a bow 10. Apocalypse Please
