  1. No need to worry, it's not likely to happen. Th only possibility (and this is very unlikely) is that they'll play less stadiums. The arena tour will remain unchanged. Thinking about it though, it is possible that they visit some places they previously haven't if they have a stripped back stage, such as shock! horror! Canberra! I hope so, I'm sick of driving up to Sydney every time a decent show is on, and they have a big fan base here.
  2. Felt like being a creepy fucker and stalking you. You're welcome.

  3. Well, to be honest, we don't know when the Chili's are coming. It was going to be in March, but as Keidis required foot surgery the entire tour has been postponed. I'm think it will probably be in the summer though. I don't actually know if Radiohead hate Australia, but they barely ever come out here :p Tel you what, if I hear any exciting music news, I'll let you know

  4. I think it's safe to say Hyper Music, if even played, will be a rarity. Which is fair enough, it does seem quite draining on their voices, however another replacement could be something like Dark Shines, or maybe even Fury or the Small Print. my theory is, if this album is much more energetic then The Resistance, even if they have predictable setlists, the shows will be much better, and complaints will be kept to a minimum. Songs like Guiding Light and Undisclosed Desires just dragged to much.
  5. I'm not surprised Radiohead didn't. They fucken hate Australia :( lol, they sold out quickly though! fortunately I wasn't to fussed about seeing them, lol. Saving my money for when the Chili's come down :D

  6. Aw, really? That sucks! :( well, it could me well over a year until they come back, so maybe they'll have changed their minds by then :) I forgot that they didn't come to Adelaide on their last tour. Slackers.

  7. Wew! Popularity on the interwebs :awesome: Actually, Perth's the worse. It's basically an overgrown country town :chuckle: Part of the reason I hope this coming tour is less over the top is that they might actually fit in Canberra this time. No more driving up to Sydney everytime I want to see a show :yesey:

  8. Good ol' boring as fuck Canberra... :/ you?

  9. To be honest, I really hope the next album is full of good live tracks. I think that's part of what made this tour so stagnant. There were only a few really good live tracks on it. In fact, the only one I thought went really well live was Uprising. I think the fact that there was very little new material that was actually decent live or regularly played meant that they effectively fell back on the Black Holes setlist, with a few songs swapped out for the new ones. If all goes well and this album kicks all kinds of ass, I'm hopeful we'll have a more interesting tour.
  10. But yes, as awesome as they were when I went to see them, the setlist was all over the place. On the whole, it was really just a collection of singles, with a few exceptions, and whilst I understand that it is important to play a wealth of singles, a few rarer songs could definitely improve the pacing.
  11. I'm okay with that part But I definitely think they're going to have to expand their setlists to accommodate for their new material. I went to see System of a Down (incidentally, a concert they were apparently recording for a live album ) ,recently, and they played about 25 songs. Granted, most weren't as long as a Muse song typically is, but even so, it allowed for a wealth of older songs and new ones. The setlist was absolutely brilliant, probably the best I've ever seen. I think Muse need to start thinking more heavily on what makes a good show, and what songs are popular. I definitely think they need to expand the shows. Even two more songs played could make a huge difference.
  12. Born in England, moved over here when I was about 5 :p Still have a faint english accent, but it's been tainted with all this aussieness :L haha, I really wanted to see Radiohead, but since their hadn't been an Australian tour in so long, they sold out in like 3 minutes  but Biffy Clyro's definitely on my to do list! Ever since I saw Muse i think I've gotten the gig goers disease ;)

  13. haha, yeah, I really am a moose fanboy  well, they got me really into music, so it's not really a surprise ;) lol, yeah, Social Networks great! Ever scene Fight Club? Same director :) Actually, same with the girl with the dragon tattoo. He's an awesome director :p Well, if there ever is a NIN world tour, I'd do whatever it took to see them! I know someone who saw them when they played at Soundwave (Aussie music festival), and she said they were amazing.

  14. They did the soundtrack to the Social Network, and the American (and awesome) version of the girl with the dragon tattoo. apparently Trent might be writing some new NIN material, which, if we're lucky, could lead to a new tour! :awesome: aw, thank you :) Although, to be honest, I wanted to sign up, had no idea what to call myself, and just used the first two random words an online dictionary suggested ;) Obviously, I got the idea from Muscle Museum, so I thought it was appropriate :p

  15. I'm not sure, but I think I might have. People were mocking my name even before we got onto part 2 :p I seriously want NIN to start touring again! But in the meantime we have Trent's and Atticus's awesome movie soundtracks :D

  16. Oh my god, my respect for you just tripled :kiss:

  17. Whilst boredly stalking people, I noticed you musical tastes and got all excited :')

  18. haha, sometimes, perhaps :p

  19. Actually, they did some screamo early on in their career. It wasnt that cookie monster shit you get with slip knot, but it wasn't half bad. Very raw. Anyway, I'd love them to cover dreaming by system of a down, Do you realize??? By the flaming lips, and to actually finish playing my own summer by deftones!!! Bloody hell, they've been teasing with that for ages! Granted, that's still pretty awesome. Edit - nine cats, porcupine tree!
  20. Wow, yeah that is very clearly Tool inspired, but without ripping them off. Okay, I'll try and get to the shops tomorrow to by the first album if it's there. Thanks for the advice :)

  21. Cheers for the links! There's some really interesting stuff there. From the looks of things, he has quite a few records out. Which would you recommend?
