In the airport on my way to London now too.
I'am starting to travel to the airport and flying to London today. I'M SO EXCITED.And a question; I have read here that the band has come to hang out with queuers/fans before the show. At what time do they come outside to hang out if they come? And if they come to hang with fans after the show, where will that be?
No one can say a specific time, probably somewhere between 12pm-3pm. As for after the gig if there's a back exit they'll probably be around there about an hour or so after the gig ends.

At Dublin last year the way it worked was people queuing from the morning got in first, then Three priority, then everyone else. So basically phone priority didn't screw with anyone queuing for barrier.
-
So I have a seating ticket, one of my friends has a standing. However, recently she suffered a fairly bad injury and isn't sure she's up for standing. So the obvious idea is we swap.
Possible to swap? I know people have asked stuff like this previously but I don't want to search back through it all.

30 song set, pls muse

6-6:30 should be good enough for barrier, right guys? I know it normally would but, with this being such a special gig and all...AM or PM?
Is it your first day?

What do you mean "take a number"?
Whoever is first will have a marker to write numbers on peoples hands to keep track of when they arrive, so that people can freely come and go without the issue like you described arising.

Just a thought that just went through my head, i got a level 3 seating ticket and i am planning to queue at 10-11 AM, what the feck do i do if i have to pee in the middle of the queue, people will probably wont allow me to get back in, even if i already catch a spot at the level 3 and ask someone to keep the spot for me, people will probably bash me when i try to get back to it, anyone been in that situation before?
There is absolutely no problem with going away for a toilet / food / stretch your legs / whatever break. Show up, get your number, hang around for an hour so that people recognise you, then you can go away and come back periodically.

Based on "most are b-sides" and "at least two never played live before" my guess for top 10 is, in no particular order:
Easily
Falling Away With You
Eternally Missed
Glorious
Fury
Futurism
Dead Star
Showbiz
Muscle Museum
Assassin
-
Yeah, guessing that confirms FAWY and Easily
Or else somehow Map of Your Head exceeded everyone's expectations.
-
Yeah I also thought wtf? Then I realised they meant uk single charts position
Ooh okay.
-
So that article also says
"Time is Running Out, Supermassive Black Hole, Knights of Cydonia and Uprising have all hit the top 10"
ummmmmmm

My friend was lucky enough to get us tickets from ticketmaster but hasnt recieved any info about voting yet. Can someone explain to me how it happens? Im assuming it should have already taken place?
(Ive already tried to find the answer but 120+ pages is a lot to get through!
An email explaining to vote should have been received about 2-3 days after purchasing the ticket. If you've had to wait longer, call them. Now. There's is really no time to spare.

Zepp and Montreux were still technically normal gigs though. Nothing special about them billed beforehand, the band just happened to thrown a bunch of rarities at them.
Zepp was billed as a club gig in Japan. It didn't need any more than that for people to know what was coming
-
Jobby, seriously, call them.

I've not logged in since we had the emails to choose our songs... holy shit, when did they add new songs like Space Dementia and Glorious!? What does this mean for those who submitted early before these songs were even added?
New songs were added about a day or two after the original list went up. You have to email settheset at Contact@settheset.com with your code and whatever your new top 10 is.
If you're doing it, it needs to be done now. The deadline is in two days.

Don't worry, it will be down 3 steps, sound like mud and Matt will get Chris to do the screaming at the end
Oooh drop B

I need What's He Building to open. Need it.

Three things about Eternally Missed:
1. That bass stomp.
2. That chorus.
3. That middle-section / break down.
It's everything Easily isn't.
When Matt starts playing the riff again after the first chorus I fucking love the cymbal crashes that follow.
Edit: Listened again. That chorus will cut me in two live.
-
I guess a lot of people voted for Easily as well since Matt put the idea in their heads. When people weren't quite sure how all this would work out, if they'd actually play the top voted songs, Easily looked like an obvious choice since 1. never played live and 2. Matt suggested it meaning if it got voted it would almost definitely be played.

Got talking about bands to a guy in my class today. Told him about this gig. Main two points:
"If I was going I'd definitely vote for Hysteria"
and
"It'll just be the usual songs anyway! That's what happened when Metallica did something like that!"
-
Didn't they come in 2009 as well?
They played Auckland in 2010 but it was BDO not an arena gig.

He sounds quite out of breath to me at points but overall sounds good.
(never knew Morgan played the intro, thought it was just a backing track.)
-
Iirc they said they thought B&H sounded shit after it's one play on the Drones arena tour, hence why it wasn't brought back for the remainder of them, but it was still played at Montreux (and a few more festival dates afterwards)
