  2. Agreed, that's why I was surprised it didn't come across at all. Man that sucks though, festivals need better organisation to stop crushes
  3. Just watched Kasabian set last night, and if the crowd is anything like that it's not looking good. Never seen such a dead crowd for them, only really coming alive during Fire. Really strange atmosphere
  4. Usually the live stream is live as they go on, then the TV is delayed... So hopefully one of them will be complete (it might be anyway)
  5. Anyone know if they're still showing stages live online? I forgot to check Kasabian last night. That way there's surely no risk of any rarity being cut from a terrestrial TV broadcast on BBC4
  6. If no SBE (although I'd vote for some of them again) Bliss or Uno Space Dementia Darkshines Megalomania Ruled by Secrecy Exo-Politics City of Delusion Hoodoo MK Ultra Neutron Star Collision
  7. It is as simple as that:). If they do it, it'll be the best thing they've done in years, and would scratch all their itches. Yeah the forum isn't exactly the best environment at times.
  8. If they only know a handful of songs they could be? I know '57' by Biffy Clyro but I'm still a casual Biffy fan Does anyone know the total money raised for The Passage?
  9. But it's in terms of comparing hits fans motivations... So the Muse pop loving section, may still know some of the back catalogue, whereas those others won't bother to or just don't
  10. So you honestly don't think that there's a difference between those who go to see say, Katy Perry (or someone idk) and those who go for Muse? you'll get people going to hear stuff like Teenage Dream, and don't have a clue about any single album track. But the opposite casuals for Muse may know an assassin, or some other random album track. Dunno but it just seems like Muse have a lot more of that type of fan than solely just the casual turning up for only Madness. (Also, I think this is in some way related to genres, as all the other examples I can think of that are similar are rock bands)
  11. Going on experience Speaking to friends over the years, when talking about hits and then they come out with "oh yeah and what about that song Assassin! That's pretty cool too", further interactions of a similar ilk. Also from personal experiences being in the crowd when Take a Bow came on during the Drones Tour and it getting a sizeable pop from the crowd. Same thing with Ruled by Secrecy on the 2nd Law Tour, the crowd reaction was pretty knowledgable You wouldn't get that with John Doe attending say, an All Saints gig
  12. Surely even some casuals know things like Miscle Museum and Butterflies though? Maybe even Assassin. Even casual Muse fans aren't like other acts casuals, in that they do know some of the more famous album tracks. Think it just depends which ones they pick... Especially if they pick something high energy and the crowd enjoys it anyway But I definitely wouldn't want them to play sometbing, it get a shite reaction, and then put them off
  13. The dudes I was talking to in the queue said they didn't vote because they didn't know all of the songs that were listed, and they were aware that it was going to be a very "Muse version of marvel fanboys" gig, and they didn't feel that they should take away from it because they got their tickets from someone who works at the venue (apparently)
  14. Is there a studio type recording of the Assassin Outro? All I can ever find is the like, elongated middle section with the guitar wankery

  16. So. - best crowd I've ever been in. Loudest too - the band looked like they were having an unreal amount of fun, I thought Dom was gonna swoon at one point - opening with Assassin was badass, although the crush was sore (but epic) - Muscle Museum got such a loud reception - Glorious was incredible! Knew it would be good, but the elongated intro made it even better - Showbiz sounded really cool the way they did it - By the time we hit B&H I could've went home happy - The hits they did roll out weren't out of place, don't care what anyone says Hysteria is generally always welcome, and so is PIB for the reaction - Thought the deep cuts were one after the New Born Riffgasm, so when they came back with Sing for Absolution I was so happy, especially for my friend who really wanted to hear it so I was over the moon for her - Left during knights so I could get some merch, really like the tour t shirt for the UK gigs Also have some great quality videos on my camera that I'll upload when I get home!
