Eh why not, TaB opening the encore and KoC closing it would work pretty well imo. It'd be a funny nudge to BH&R, plus when you think there's none left, there is some more.

You could even fill some breaks with instrumentals, so that Matt can still rest his voice. Minimum, Forced In (2006 version), Piano Thing, more Bass & Drum...

Well, of course it's just my opinion. You asked why someone would think it was boring, so I told you why I thought it was.
Though I do imagine that even some people who only go every few years would be bored by the harmonica. I know I'd think "Oh...they're still doing this?". I wouldn't complain about a song closing every gig if it was good and fitting (i.e. TAB/Stockholm) but MWAH+Knights is just a snoozefest in that spot for me.

Aaaah! I remember this... Possible chance they will do it again. But still they soundchecked Aftermath and Aftermath is more easier to sing than Big Freeze

Where did this rumor about Aftermath as a single come from, btw? I heard it earlier today, too. Just because it hasn't been played yet? Or from that fan that's 100% certain it will be played in Europe?
I don't hear any rumor. But i'm just thinking why that song hasn't been played while the song itself is not too hard too perform (Matt can sings falsetto in last chorus just like he did in Explorers). And that song can(?) make a sing along moment.

Maybe Aftermath will be the next single and they will perform it as a stapple after the single is released.. They start to play Dead Inside and Revolt after the single is released. Mercy's debut also not far from the date that the single is released.
The only slot that fit to this song is only in UD/Resistance or they easily add slot in the encore before Mercy

To be fair, Uprising, Resistance and Knights could kinda fit into the Drones theme. And you mentioned the last one twice.
