  • Biography
I'm old, I'm a loner, I'm a geek with lots of geek friends I love very dearly and we do lots of fun geeky things. Just the other day my friend Rita and I spent a good portion of the work day google street viewing various superfund sites. Good times.

  • Favourite Bands
In chronological order: The Alan Parsons Project, Styx, Pink Floyd, A Flock of Seagulls, Rush, The Police, U2, Pearl Jam, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers, Muse. Hopefully I didn't forget everyone. These are just the bands that I have called my "favorite" at various times of my life. My collection is quite extensive. Lots of prog rock, new wave, post punk, classic rock, hair metal and alternative.
  • Favourite Films
Favorite films is always a tricky one. My quintessential fave would have to be The Wizard of Oz. I'm a Star Wars geek and a Harry Potter geek too. I saw the original Star Wars in the theater. I also saw the original Tron in the theater. Other movies I watch nearly every time I see them on: Jaws, The Silence of the Lambs, The Godfather, any John Hughes teen movies from the 80s. Repo Man is certainly one everyone should see... Hudsucker Proxy, Big Lebowski, actually any Coen Bros. stuff. Joe Vs. the Volcano. Suburbia is a punk classic all young punks should seek out. Also Dudes. Penelope Spheeris did some more early punk cult things too.
  • Favourite TV Shows
Project Runway, Ghost Hunters, Meteorite Men, Big Bang Theory, Dr. Who, , Firefly, Family Guy, Robot Chicken. Anything about Astronomy, weather, theoretical physics, psychology, geology, biology, true crime, the paranormal and fashion design. LOL! I was really into Lost in the early seasons and I've loved WKRP in Cincinatti for the better portion of my life.
  • Favourite Books
Snow Crash, The Black Stallion, Wrack and Roll, Hitchikker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Crystal Singer, lots of other scifi fantasy that no one's heard of.
  • Muse Releases Owned
Almost all of it. I don't have that "Hullaballoo" thing and I don't yet have Neutron Star Collision. I should get that tonight.
  • Muse Concerts Attended / Attending
I still have my ticket for November 2, 2010 at the Sprint Center. :-( Still waiting for my chance.

  1. Living In Heaven by A Flock of Seagulls. As the flock did it, it's got a great beat, but the fills are weak. Dom could rock some new fills. The bass line is already pretty cool, Chris could fall right into that. Vocals and guitars could be Matthew's playground. I'd love to hear them remake this song.
  2. I'm still here! I've been terribly busy for the past few days. I was finishing hand sewing a dress that I wanted to wear to an event for this medieval reenacting group I belong to. Still wound up having to pin the straps on but I wore it. Then last night was the first roller derby match of the year. My friend Rita is on the team. Needless to say yesterday was a long day. Sometimes my weekends are more exhausting than my work- week! Right now I'm trying to call my sister, I haven't talked to her in a while and she left me a message to call her. Talking to my sister on the phone is usually a two- hour long affair. Then off to my parents' house to watch the Superbowl and eat lots of food that's bad for us.

    Later!
