So it turns out I bought a set of Dimarzio Super Distortions for my black strat about 4 years ago for £30 and didn't even know....
I was wondering why it was so damn good for Kyuss and early Queens.

What about the kahler stud mounted tremolo system? You can go back to tune-o-matic as well.
EDIT: Oops requires top routing though :o
If he is looking at an evertune I think routing is the least of his concerns

Nope, don't really have an opportunity to try one either, may be a bit risky but I've heard decent stuff about them. Plus the tuning aspect is cool, it's just whether it affects string bending that much
Not sure whether I'd like the look of a standard ToM on a jazz
I'd really try to find one with an evertune already and try it out. It would be a shame to ruin a decent guitar.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether I should change the bridge on sxc jazz from a Bigsby to an Evertune (or another bridge?)
I never really use the vibrato on the bigsby and it's just hassle to restring and tune and all

Right so I called Thomann today and shout at them for about half an hour for not being honest about their stock and eventually got them to ship my order today
should arrive early next week I guess.

It's also called a song tho.
But it isn't called poetry. A great mixture of quality lyrics and quality music is ideal. But when it comes down to it I'd prefer sub-par lyrics to sub-par music.

So how long does mixing a song actually take? Curious as to what a "tight" deadline might entail for this scenario.
It can vary hugely. If it's just them mixing a radio-friendly version, maybe a day or so. Although since Dom is there it's more than likely an old clip and the deadline references a production deadline.
Or they're fucking with us. That's always an option.

I think I'll go for the V. Drop tuning is nice, but I don't think it's worth the extra money.
If you really find you need it down the line, you could get a Digitech Drop. It's basically the drop side of the DT.

I'm setting up a 2nd pedalboard to use for my covers band (my current one is just too big). I was thinking of getting an EHX Bass Soul Food with my Bass Big Muff and my delay. Does anyone have any experience with the BSF?
Also, since I'm taking the Big Muff of my main board, I was planning on replacing it with a Boss ODB-3 (I know it's not a fuzz, but I'm not looking for a fuzz), doesn't anyone here have any experience with that?
