    Matt said in the Roundhouse the song was about ancient genetics. I do believe they overproduced the song to make it a bit silly with the backing chorus, if it was intentional or not, i don't know. Pity, because the guitar is really a killer in Survival.

    Interestingly, my favourite part of Micro Cuts live always was the guitar outro, Dead Cuts covers both worlds.

    Plot twist. Muse realized Montreux is a better release and is going to sell it instead, with The Globalist, Defector, The Handler and Reapers as extras.

    Don't mention it I still have nightmares with that cancelled project. What a great show Wembley was.

    Due to Iceland awesomeness they should play a set similar to Montreux. Let's be honest, the two most brilliant venues of the entire tour are these two.

    I don't think politics affect Muse's setlists. I know a few artists/musicians and all pick the songs they think are better for the audience.

    Usually i don't singalong or spend the show jumping like crazy (maybe just on few songs), i am what some people would call a boring atendee. That doesn't mean i won't enjoy the show, i like to try to catch every note and i don't care if a song is heavier or softer as long as i can enjoy it. ...and besides, Muse already had 70000 people singing every song of the set before, like in Rome. Saying that, i don't know how would i react in a gig like Montreux, the thing was insane.

    Different people different stamina. Muse is a band that usually play 1h30m to 2h. And sometimes they throw amazing shows like the last Wembley, Zepp or Montreux. Deal with it. Also, i think in Montreux was the first time they played four of my favourite songs in one show, Fury, Futurism, Assassin and Butterflies. If they reléase this one they'll make me very happy.

    That's a problem, if everytime they do a special thing a shitstorm is going to happen,, then these baddass gigs are likely to disappear.

    The amount of negativity in this place is outstanding. They just played a hell of a show and people is moaning because they didn't play a similar set at the gig they atended. Moaning never solved anything. Do something useful and sign a petition to release this show as disc 2 or whatever of the new 4K movie. So people can enjoy Montreux 2016 in their homes till their eyes bleed.

    Holy Cow! Just saw the setlist for this show, B&H, Fury, Futurism and Assassin in one gig... This must be like the best show ever done!

    Not playing the Globalist will be a mistake. Is a great song.
