  1. Last night was amazing! I was worried waiting in the queues for general admission cause I didn't get a shirt on the way in but bought one after. The energy in the crowd. All the jumping and fist pumping. It was intense. I got probably 10 people from the front on Chris' side at one point. I could hear myself singing at the start of Explorers Sure the middle part of the set was a bit of downer but having the chance to recover at that point was nice. That is not to say I didn't enjoy that bit though. Jumping around in a massive crowd screaming "My plug in baby!" was such an awesome feeling. I would highly recommend it. It is nice to know I seem to be over my fear of crowds. If the guy that said "sorry man, you're gonna get slaughtered" when MWAH harmonica started is a member on here. I thought that was funny! Good times moshing I don't know if anyone else on Chris' side saw that girl who was swaying everywhere and was either drunk/drugged or both. Seeing stuff like that at concerts really annoys me. Don't let your stupidity in the way of me having a good time. Other than that, it was a great night!
  2. From gigs that I've been too, the energy generally is gone by the middle and returns at the end but the songs that were played consecutive order, I can understand why the energy dropped.
  3. I don't hate the songs in the boring middle part like people are calling it, I just think all of those songs together would be a mood killer. If they did play that I would still enjoy it for what it is.
  4. I wouldn't complain about that. Sunburn was the first song I knew of when getting into Showbiz, from memory. I missed that last time cause I only went on the second night but Bliss and B&H were the rarities that night so I was happy to see that.
  5. I know what you mean! I know I said a couple of days ago I wasn't as excited as I was for the last tour, well I'm very excited for tomorrow now. I was excited during the whole lead up last tour, thinking about it was a good distraction and motivation throughout the HSC. This lead-in has been more subdued as my Muse addiction isn't quite what it was three years ago. For example, I could guess almost every song last time I saw them cause I read every set. I'm struggling to remember what order some songs are being played in now and what is considered a "normal" setlist. Anyway, I'm listening to TR now. More specifically USoE. I'd like to see that tomorrow night. Unnatural Selection would be awesome because I really wanted to see that last time but they dropped it before the Australian leg. What an essay...
  6. I'm surprised this has generated so much discussion For those that are concerned, I'm wearing an old pair. So if they get broken then I won't be too disappointed. I wore them to Big Day Out this year and it was alright, though I was at the back of the D so it was pretty calm there.
  7. I hate contacts. My eyes are too fidgety. They would be perfect for going to concerts or when I have to wear my glasses for a long time because my glasses annoy if I wear them for ages. At least someone can relate to me
  8. GA, which is kind of annoying cause I wear glasses and my long distance eye sight is shocking without them. I'm wearing an old pair, too paranoid to wear my good ones. Not that you needed to know this
  9. Yep! I'm looking forward to the whole day to be honest. Catching the train in. Meeting my mate there and getting something to eat for dinner. Buying a gig shirt and then most importantly having a great night watching Muse!
  10. It is starting to hit me. Tomorrow night I'll be seeing by 2nd favourite band for the second time. To think it is three years (and three days) since I last saw Muse and how much my life has changed. Sorry, I'm getting soppy but seeing Muse isn't something that happens often. Roll on tomorrow night!
  11. They had one job! I heard there was a shirt with the 2nd Law album cover on it. I'll probably get that instead.
  12. So Friday! I'll admit, I'm not looking forward to this as much as three years ago. I don't seem to be into Muse as much as I used, through no fault of Muse. I actually really like T2L. Listening to the first three albums the last few days is getting me excited, followed by the others. Anyway, enough about me. I've never had GA tickets at Allphones before. Getting there by 6 should be enough for a decent spot, right? I don't really care for barrier, just a decent spot in the middle would do me.
  13. I thought they were expected to arrive on the 18th of October? Or was that for the other states?
  14. Am I the only one not to have got their tickets yet? I'm getting a little worried, even checked my Dad's ticketek account had my address in there.
  15. If you're worried cause it is sold out, I didn't get tickets to see the Foo Fighters till the week or so before when they released more of them. I know the SFS is a bigger venue but don't give up hope yet.
  16. So I didn't get tickets in the presale cause my friend who was overseas didn't get back to me in time. Getting nervous about tomorrow. Would be gutted if I didn't get to see Muse after how much I enjoyed it last time.
  17. Does anyone know if tickets from the pre-sale are still available? I have a mate overseas and contact with him is a bit difficult at the moment so I hoping to buy them now, or worst case scenario on Monday.
  18. I'm hoping to get tickets. Just got to get my head around date for the Muse members presale and I should be right
  19. Â When I've bought merch in the past (I've only bought shirts) I just end up wearing it on top of the shirt I wore to the show. In the past I've been in seats and took my original shirt off in the toilets but for a small gig I went to recently I wore it on top of my other shirt. The concert went for about an hour and 15 minutes and I was pretty sweaty after it cause of my moshing and jumping. Â Also don't worry about being worried. I'm the exact same as you
