Yes, and now you can leave again for just as long, preferely forever. So I have left the board long enough to let the idiots have their fun.Now is the time for some intelligent fucking thought, and to reign it all in.
Half of the album sounds like Midge Ure's last solo album (which is a fucking masterpiece and doesn't deserve such horrible, blatant butchery).
Some of it sounds like 2015 Acrtic Monkeys if they'd stopped given a fuck, which they incidentally did this/last year.
Some of it sounds like Muse trying to do sexy.
I fucking hate it all.
I give it a year, unitl this album is collectively Muse's most hated.
Shit. Get fucking real.
This is horse shit.
Algorithm is OK, but also so far up its own arse that it's undoubtedly new Muse.
Get a fucking grip you idiots.
This is shit.
How dare you pretend otherwise.
Bye.
No, but really, it's damn good.

The Void Acoustic is hands down the best track of the album.

Yeah not that we should be complaining, but what the thought behind suddenly dropping the GOB riffing?

That's actually a brilliant B&H performance. Even the vocals are spot on.

Drones Choir (Reprise). Wtf 😂

Meh, he's been flat and unable to do the MoTP chorus properly for a while. (The chest part)
He could barely hold the G4 for a split second even with an untimingly long pause before attempting. Has it been that bad for all of this leg of the tour?
-
No different from the way he's sounded all year. Which is fine, mostly, apart from the occasional strained falsetto.
Haven't watched many videos from the last months, but he was definitely better in Oslo.
-
Matt's fine. The vocal mix had been dreadful. Its a bit better now.
Whatever you say.
-
Matt sounds really bad today. Worst Map I've heard I think...

Wasn't Fury supposed to pop up tonight?

Wth... He has lost it completely.

I don't think there's a known story behind it.

Wehey, excited for tonight
Sounds quite plausible. I do hope they play B&H though, and I think Blackout might show up aswell, or something completely unexpected/not played before this tour, but we'll see. Tremendously looking forward to these two gigs .
I wouldn't hold my breath.

Atleast it has gotten better since this for instance:
-
He's always done the G#4 to my knowledge. (Except for the first gig ofc)
I mean it's already lowered anyway.
Yeah, you're right
-
Should be a good sign he's going for the G#4 instead of lowering it? He did that at o2 aswell. Haven't really kept track if he's done it other times this arena tour.
-
Maybe, but a complication to the voice can affect in different ways. If there's restrictions in the throat, it will demand more air and power to sustain a note that would be easier without it. I'm no doctor so it'll only be speculations

That's right but he had a year break in advance of that tour. You could even at that time notice small things that he struggled with that he wouldn't have just a year before. Now he has been touring for a year possibly wearing his voice even more down if there was an issue in the first place.

Front row of Block 111..so seated block right next to the central stage. I stood and danced throughout of course!
That's what I imagined could be the case. I'm no expert on acoustics, but I can imagine it's not ideal standing in the middle since basically the speakers are above you and facing towards the seats. Maybe the soundwaves hits the walls and then being redirected back to the middle from all sides.

Where did you stand?

It has been like this for more or less a year now since the start of the UK Psycho Tour so that's unlikely.

He most likely has a team around him who gives him advice how to manage through it the best possible way if that's the case. Although difficult to hear due to the poor sound yesterday but he seemed to be holding back on the vocals never straining or pushing himself more than absolutely necessary. He sounded like having good control through the ending of both DI and TH. Doing "Freedom is mine" during FG in falsetto makes it quite obvious that he doesn't even try to push himself on the higher sustained chest notes.

This has probably little to do with getting older. During the T2l tour he was better than ever before. These vocals issues doesn't come that sudden with age.

It seems obvious that the problem is more than just singing The Handler. The only reason for all the breaks, playback, drum and bass and so on are certainly not there to make the show any better atleast.
