Yeah I was so jealous of all those people at the barrier! Tulsa was amazing too! They played Animals and not Map as well. The roadtrip was awesome too . I remember when I went to my first Muse concert there were people who had nametags that said something along the the lines of "Hi, I'm_______ from the messageboard." I thought that was pretty cool

Yes I can't wait!!! . It'll be so much fun! Unfortunately both are seated tickets. We had to do it that way because on March 8, I'll be getting in from DC on the same day at like 5:00, so we wouldn't really be able to get to close, so we figured seats would be best. And then on March 10 we're driving in to Tulsa the same day so again we wouldn't be able to get to close.

I've been good! College has been great so far. I've made some really good friends and am really enjoying (most) of my classes! I still miss home a lot and my friends from home, but it's been getting better and better. How's everything going for you?

It's so cool working down by the Capitol! Even though most of the stuff I do is just like answering the phones and sorting mail and whatnot, it's an awesome feeling being down there where so much gets done.

Oh no that's too bad! Yeah it's always tough when a good player leaves. If I remember correctly, didn't he set a Lions record for receiving yards last year? The Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter is going to miss all of the 2013 season, which is awful because he miss 90% of last year too. It's the same injury, which they thought had been repaired, but apparently not. He's contemplating retirement now because he's in his late 30s

Yeah, it's okay though. I'll get to see them on March 8, and then my best friend and I are driving down on March 10 to see them in Oklahoma. So two Muse concerts in three days!

Ah The Vaccines were so great! They played at a really small venue that was all general admission, which was really cool. And all their songs are super high energy so I was exhausted from all the jumping around by the end of it . They didn't play for that long (about an hour and fifteen minutes) which was a little disappointing but I can't really blame them since they only have two albums and all their songs are pretty short unlike Muse

You too! College has been crazy busy! I have my internship at my Senator's office three times a week now. It's awesome though. Good job! I did well in most of my classes as well. I'm really happy. Though this semester figures to be somewhat tougher.

Too bad the Lions didn't do better, but at least they had a good regular season! The Super Bowl was tonight, and Baltimore won. It was a really exciting game even though I didn't really have a stake in who won

Still no Muse tour date in DC. On Friday night I saw one of my other favorite bands though, The Vaccines. Have you heard of them? They were so good!

I'm home now! Finals went really well. I got an A on Econ and Comparative Politics and I feel good about the rest of them. How did the last two go? Any plans over winter break? Oh I forgot to ask earlier, how did the Lions do this year? I went to the Rams game today and they lost . They are still doing better than last year, though. They are 6-7-1.

Maybe they will have a second leg of their tour in North America like they did for The Resistance and they'll come to Washington then. That's all I can hope for!

Now Obama and the Republicans just have to work together and avoid the so called fiscal cliff. Not sure if you've heard much about that, but basically at the start of 2013 there will be automatic tax increases and spending cuts if the government can't get together and figure out an alternative. Thanksgiving was wonderful and actually winter break starts in a week! Today is my last day of classes and then finals are next week. When are you finals?

Unfortunately it doesn't look like they are coming to Washington. They are going to be in St. Louis on March 8, which is the Friday that my Spring Break starts. So I'm going to try and find a flight out of Washington after classes that will get me home in time for the concert. It'll be tough it's for Muse, so I think I can do it!

I've been listening to it practically constantly since I realized it was on iTunes. I love it so much! Supremacy is amazing, Madness has grown on me, Panic Station reminds me of Muse+Red Hot Chili Peppers, which is awesome. Also I really like Follow Me and Big Freeze (even though it does sound a little bit like U2 ) Also Isolated System is great and I haven't heard any song that I don't like. For an orientation thing, we went to the Supreme Court but it wasn't while court was in session. It was still really awesome though! Saw awesome paintings of some of my favorite Justices and got to see the courtroom itself.

Today was the first day of classes. I had macroeconomics and comparative politics. I think it went pretty well!

Yesterday it was 108 here. 108. It's been miserable . I went to the Cardinals game yesterday too and they won in extra innings! It was so exciting. The Cardinals struggled for awhile but have won 6 of their last 7. Sadly the team leading the division has done extremely well recently too so we haven't been able to gain any ground

It went well! It was exhausting though. The first day we checked in around 8:30 AM and stuff to do till about 11 PM, then went to be and got up at around 8 and had stuff till 5, then I had a flight hope at 9 that night. It was so tiring
