I see what you mean. In the original song, if you listen to the first phrase after the Ab octave riff, the last note ends on the same beat where you would slide down for the start of the riff. Without having an actual bass player, this means I have to either slide from the top note the solo - which sounds awful - or skip the first note of the riff. This causes a really awkward sound gap that would've made me reupload even more

I was always dissatisfied. I liked the way it sounded better. I had to toggle the whammy for the octave effect also and I thought it'd be easier overall. I think Matt does it all on one track for the actual song.
