  1. :p

    Yeah they are. Exactly!

I'm not too keen on the spinoff so far, judging by the character bios. It looks like the demographic they are targeting is completely different than the Supernatural fanbase (although that could be what they want to do). I mean the characters are rich young adults mixed up in big-city monster family drama and forbidden love - whereas Supernatural is about two dirt-poor hunters traveling from little town to little town - and we're expected to believe that Sam and Dean, who will let the protagonist know about all these monster families later this season... are letting them all live peacefully in Chicago? It might as well be a completely different show and universe!

  2. Thanks!

Haha, yeah I know shows/movies like that; I'm not judging you. :chuckle: Those kind of shows are really interesting.

If the ratings don't tank next season there will for sure be another season. I honestly think as long as Jensen and Jared want to do it, and the ratings hold, there will be a Supernatural season - the CW network owner is too much of a fan of Supernatural!

  3. Evidently

Yeah! Next week's reading break so hopefully I can get back to the set then and find out.

Nice! A friend has been mentioning House of Cards a lot and I've seen ads, looks good.

SUPERNATURAL RENEWED FOR SEASON 10 :awesome::dance:

  4. Yes I've heard . I've read the plot summary on wikipedia and was just... :wtf::facepalm:

I got a locations breakdown for 9x12, which I think is what he uses to plan where to film (it's basically a rough version of the script), and a decal to put on a car window that cast and crew get. Although he said he had more for me because that "wasn't enough"!

Well it could be Josie, right? Not Abaddon? Since if it is a flashback scene - which would make sense considering the old classic car and the fact that John Winchester is there - well, Josie wasn't possessed until later, right before Henry came to the present. I think.

Oh TCAG as in DNA sequencing! :awesome:

  5. The ending was the only part that gave me a bit of a jump but I still loved it! Didn't find it overall scary, and not at all scary the second time around.

He's the location manger for the show (has been since season 1!). Well I did a WHOLE lot more research (so much and in so many various ways that I cannot go over all of them in a reasonable amount of time) that I was able to narrow it down to 4 places. And guess what I found on my guess? THE CREW PARK. I actually found them today and Russ was so surprised he said he honestly thought I wouldn't find them because they were so out of the way (they were... really out of the way.) and because I had school (though I got off at 11). So he brought a couple stuff but said he would bring more!

It's okay; it took me a while to recognize AJ at the set itself! I realized it was him when he was actually in the scene!

Here are the spoilers from the filming I saw today:

HENRY WINCHESTER will be in the episode.

But - keep in mind, I don't think that means that he will be in the present-day, because the set today looked like it's from the past. There was a nice classic car with an Illinois license plate outside the building. So - flashback? Side note, he was wearing pretty much all black.

The building itself was made to look like a very old, rundown convent called St. Bonaventure. However I'm not sure what the inside looked like of course, i.e. it might be made to look new on the inside. So maybe they shot Henry's scenes inside the convent and had it look new, and Sam and Dean visit it in present day and it looks rundown then - if that makes sense!

Another guest star in the episode?

ABADDON! Or Josie, the woman before the demon possessed her (more likely).

And not present-day - she had her hair all done up as in the episode she was introduced - and if I am correct, she was wearing a nun's outfit. It's very hard to say though because Alaina had a lot of layers on to keep warm so I can't really tell what she was wearing exactly. If I remember correctly it was black, though.

There were also quite a few nuns walking around as... extras? Guest stars? Not sure. Either way, there is definitely something going on in that covent.

  6. True :p

They do! Well... they actually get scared really easily. I tried getting them to watch Blair Witch and one of them had to leave halfway through.

WELL not sure if you saw Russ Hamilton's tweet about the crew taking Misha out for lunch during the tech scouting, but I figured out today which restaurant it is... from the writing on the chopsticks... :shifty:http://supermishamiga.tumblr.com/image/75082266613 So that might be a good spot to start considering it would make sense they go for lunch near the location of the tech scouting. It's only 50 minutes by bus away...

Travis is to the right of Jensen and AJ is in front of Jared!

  7. Same with me, actually! I would've dropped 2 courses (!!) but that would've put me just under the 30 credit limit allowed by my degree. Still, dropping one course made a huge difference thank goodness! I hope things have settled down a bit for you!

Well judging by their record it sounds like they've been getting better? I would be optimistic too! I remember the Hamilton Tiger Cats for several years kept placing last... going 3-15 and similar records... and they gradually got better and made it all the way to the Grey Cup last year! They didn't win but still, I'm sure the Rams will gradually get better!

I just want this term to be over already :chuckle: I miss breaks too much. It's weird because weekends are my days to catch up on sleep so I sleep in... a lot... :chuckle:. Whoa nice, 4 day weekend! :awesome: We haven't had snow since November I think.

I've heard it's so good! I'd love to watch it eventually. The rest of family is watching it and I'm all left out! I'm almost caught up on Psych though - nearly done season 6!

AHHH on Friday I found Supernatural filming again and the actors came and took a picture with us fans! And I shook their hands and told them so many thank-you's and they thanked us back and were so lovely! And then the guy in charge of locations, who recognizes me since I go to set so often said that if I can find them on Tuesday, I will get something that only the cast and crew of Supernatural have . I really really want to find them... but the chances are so slim... it's so hard!

The picture is here: http://sunshine-chinaline.tumblr.com/image/75229511021. I'm in the scarf and converse shoes standing next to the girl with the green jacket :chuckle:

  8. Maaan stupid school I'm only 2 episodes in . It's good so far. I can see why it's such a cult classic already!

:p Which part made them jump? Everything, right from the beginning . We did crash the day after...

I was taking 6 courses + a 3-hour lab every week, so some would consider that 7 courses. Got rid the course + lab so now it's just 5! It's definitely a lot nicer.

Good to hear! Glad that you're enjoying school. What's the science building like?

I found Supernatural filming the next episode with

    the Ghostfacers

on Friday and tons of stuff happened. Jensen, Jared, and the people I mentioned above all took a group photo with us! That never happens. And I got to shake their hands and they were very genuine and nice . Also, since I go to so many sets Russ recognized me yet again and gave me a challenge - if I find them on Tuesday he will give me something only Supernatural cast and crew have . Chances of me actually finding them are like 10% but I'm definitely going to try. Can't imagine what he might give me if I can find them! Also, I was at a park downtown and saw Misha's kids there. What the heck. (I swear I'm not a stalker!)

    :shifty:

Anyways, someone posted the picture: http://sunshine-chinaline.tumblr.com/image/75229511021. I've got the converse shoes and scarf, standing next to the girl in the green jacket :chuckle:

  9. I'm very late in saying so but thank you!!!

School's been so busy for me. How about for you? I've actually decided to drop a course for the first time. It's going to mean I do my degree in 5 years instead of 4 now. Oh well, I'd rather get better grades and understand what I'm learning than make a race out of it and just be able to say I did it in 4...

It sounds like a better season that last year, though, for the Rams! And it's good that they showed they could win against good teams, that's promising. Yeah it's weird, that's happened before, about being able to win against good teams and losing against weaker ones. Hope the quarterback is better now.

I started school in the first week of January. Winter break was really low-key and I really miss it :chuckle:. Lots of nice dinners, sleeping in, playing games with friends.... it was nice! How was yours?

X-Files! That's on my list to watch since Supernatural makes so many references to it, and it's such a cult classic! Doctor Who... I've seen a few bits of episodes but never really got into it. But man is it popular. I hope you like it!

  10. I haven't actually started watching it! Still catching up on other shows. Also started Xena: Warrior Princess :chuckle:. I feel like Breaking Bad will be the kind of show that I'll get really involved in so I'll save it for when I've got more free time.

Good to hear! :chuckle: Actually I didn't get scared by it. My friends did though. I beat the game in a couple weeks or so already. Ahaha we played video games until 6AM. Getting old? :p

Man I've been so busy with school; it really hit me like a freight train. I've decided on dropping a course because it's too much! How've you been?

  11. :awesome:

Have you ever watched it? Haha :p that would be very interesting! They ARE both filmed in Vancouver, sooo... :awesome:

I'm not surprised, it seems like it could be pretty creepy! I always forget how long ago it was on. Well I got season 1 of Breaking Bad for Christmas so that seems to be what I'll start soon.

It was really nice! There have been a lot of dinners with friends and family so no shortage of good food and company. Tonight I'm going to stay over at a friends house and three of us are going play Amnesia all night. HAHA!

    How was yours?

And Happy New Year to you too! :awesome:

  12. :awesome: I hope they keep the title!

Yeah now it's all melted XD

Psych is awesome; I'd highly recommend it! It's kind of like Sherlock but a much more comedic and quirky twist... and I like it more, actually. The seasons are a pretty fast watch too, usually only 16 episodes. One of the actors is actually going to be in a Supernatural episode soon, as

the demon Cain, in episode 11 "First Born".

    I didn't even know X-Files had a movie :$

Merry Christmas to you too! :xmas:

  13. Yeah! They've lasted longer than anyone on Supernatural - longer than the Winchesters too! :chuckle:

Snow's melting already. Hopefully it comes back in time for Christmas!

Dry, huh? It's been really dry here too, actually, aside for the one day of snow. Hopefully that changes for you!

Nice, that sounds like a cool idea :awesome:. I've kinda been marathoning Psych, trying to catch up soon. But then I've also got X-Files and Breaking Bad to catch up on too...

  14.

He will be coming back anyways XD. Same with the Ghostfacers. But if I recall correctly there is another person who will be coming back.

Thanks! You too! Ahh I see.

First day of proper snow today! :awesome:

  15. Wow those do sound pretty big! Glad to hear you think they are positive. Yeah the Lions didn't make it to the final, but they played the eventual winners on the way and actually gave them a lot more competition than the Eastern division finalists. I think this year was the third year in a row the cup was won by the home team! Next year the Grey Cup is back in BC so who knows, that trend could continue :awesome:

Nice, good luck on that one! I've got just one more exam too, Math, on Tuesday. WE'RE SO CLOSE!

Oh my gosh, that's crazy! That's never happened to me that I can remember. Glad to hear about the exam changeup

Good! Sounds like you've got a lot to look forward to

I've heard a bit about that, yeah. You're correct, Stephen Harper is our Prime Minister.

 DO IT. DO IT DO IT DO IT. :awesome:

Ahh I've watched a few episodes of Parks and Rec!

I'm almost into season 5 of Psych! And the guy who plays Lassie is in an upcoming Supernatural episode :awesome:

  16. Agreed. Apparently someone unexpected will be returning later this season so who knows...

Yeah me too, I'm just going to do a lot of relaxing and going to family dinners . Ahh I never played that game!

  17.

Lucifer back! That would be interesting. I'd love for Gabriel to come back somehow.

    :awesome: Thanks!

Just finished putting my Christmas tree up. :xmas: Any plans for the holidays this year?

  18. It was definitely one of their better ones.

Really going to miss Kevin :(. Now that he's gone a new prophet should appear - I wonder if Chuck will be back? (*Wishful thinking*)

Glad Cas got his angel mojo back although I think the way he got it back isn't how angel grace works... ahh well.

I wasn't too surprised that it wasn't Ezekiel but it was still interesting how it carried out. Damn you Gadreel :fear:

Next episodes look good! I think there will be a lot more mytharc/Cas episodes coming up.

Thanks :p. Going to play my first game tomorrow :chuckle:

    Most likely . Hmm..

  19. They're definitely my least favourite writers.

I've heard good reviews on it! I haven't done any wi-fi battles yet since I don't have a proper complete team. When I'm done mine I'll start by playing against my friend to test it out first :chuckle:. Nice, that's a great selection of games! Yeah Meowth has sentimental value but not so much playable value.

By the way, nice new Christmas icon :awesome:. I've gotta think of a new one too.

  20.

I really liked the bunker scenes too. Yeah Nora seemed pretty scripted and unrealistic overall.

I'm really torn on episode 9. Especially since it's the midseason finale I'm excited for it and going by the promo it looks awesome, but it's also written by the least favourite writers by far...

 Yeah I'll be buying more games for sure - thinking about something like Zelda? - but I better not yet, until my finals are over. Yeah I really only know the first 2, at most 3 generations. Those pokemon were pretty prominent in this game though, which was good. To play through the game I had Charizard, Lucario, Greninja, Florges, Magnezone, and Garchomp. I picked the water starter too! I usually pick water, sometimes fire. Right now during my study breaks I'm training new pokemon for a more competitive team. Thinking of having Gengar and Scizor. What pokemon games did you play?

Thanks! Yeah, our thanksgiving is about mid-October.

  21. Ahh okay!

Episode 8 wasn't so good. But yes I thought 6 and 7 were very solid.

Yeah! Also, I went out and bought a 3DS to play Pokemon Y.... Worst decision to make during school . I beat the game in 3 days, over about a day's worth of gameplaying...

    Also, Happy Thanksgiving!

  22. :p

Naw our service provider just sent us one for free.

6th and 7th episodes were great too!

Yeah I really want to know what the dog said.

For the 6th episode: I think Cas was written a LOT better than in 9x03.

It was really nice seeing Dean so happy; I hope Cas gets back to the bunker soon. Kevin and Sam had good scenes too.

Interesting to think why Crowley was injecting himself at the end with Kevin's blood. I wonder why? I think either (a) he wants/craves to feel more human, or (b) he's trying to become human enough to escape the traps somehow.

It was pretty unbelievable that the mom would have just set Cas up like that though; I can't really imagine a mother leaving her baby in the care of someone who they would've known for just a few weeks just because they were a hard worker.

The 7th episode was good too. It felt like old Supernatural with the creepy MOTW storyline and the pacing was good. I think the guy who played young Dean was great. He didn't look as much like Dean as I imagined to be at 16 but I didn't really care since he acted it out so well. He got all of Dean's mannerisms down perfectly!

The last scene was pretty heartbreaking. Also John Winchester is horrible.

Still haven't seen the movie! Ahh I see what you're saying. That's similar to what I've heard about it too.

That's good! Agh still been so busy with school I haven't gone out for a movie in a while. Hopefully when Finals are over.

  23. Got one free of charge :awesome:

Yeah, agreed. Haha yeah I rewatched it a couple weeks ago and I agree. Didn't really help that I watched it with my dad and he's always vocal while watching a movie if he thinks something is stupid or flawed :chuckle:

:shifty:. The fifth episode was great!

Tons of great comedic moments. Jensen has excellent comedic timing, and Jared played a great straight-man too! I think my favourite scene was when Dean kept fetching the waste paper from the trash :chuckle:. And when he pulled the gun on the Pigeon

Didn't really like the dog voices though. And I hope Sam finds out about Ezekiel soon because the constant dying/being brought back is getting tiring.

Haha XD. Ahh that's too bad. Haven't watched Hellraiser yet! I've heard great things about Ender's Game too, and I enjoyed the books. It's been years since I've read it though. Like a decade! I see, I see; well I hope you enjoy Thor 2! Apparently it's better than the first.

  24. Aww no! Yeah I can imagine, they really got close. I'm glad things are looking good for next year at least.

Lions are doing decently; sometimes they look amazing in game and sometimes they just stink. You're right; the Grey Cup is soon! We're in the Western Semi-Final this weekend and we'll have family over to watch with us. Really excited for the game!

Glad to hear!. Good luck on your exams! I've got two more midterms left and then finals starting in a month.

Ahh yeah that's right, you've got Thanksgiving soon. Sometimes I'm watching an American channel and I see an advertisement for turkey/Thanksgiving dinner and I get confused because ours already happened :chuckle:. This term has gone so fast!

    Ahh sorry to hear that...

I'm not too much of a fan of our Prime Minister.

It's from the show Supernatural :awesome:. The car is Dean Winchester's Impala (his Baby ;D) and the pentagram is a devil's trap for trapping demons. Thanksgiving was really nice! I always love the food and company.

Never heard of her but it sounds like I should look her up then!
