Sorry about that thing with your friend, its sad to feel like you are loosing someone you love, and if its because of school is even sadder! Same happened to me with another great friend of mine (but replace school with boyfriend and you got the right picture! And now he broke up with her and she wasnts us to be like we used to be and i just said No... I mean, i am not gonna ignore that she just forgot i existed! Even if we are taking it step by step its never gonna be the same! And the sad part is that i miss being able to talk to her about everything! When she started dating that guy, who actualy is another friend of mine and really cool btw, me and my current bff come very close because we [LIKE MUSE XD] were a trio! So i guess it had a good side but i still miss her even when i'm pissed at her, which used to be a lot!

My parents sometimes go away for weekends and take my brother of course, and since my exams demand a very strict stdy basis, that i dont follow at all --' i have to stay home alone and before the nights used to bother me too but now i love them! I feel free! I really need to move out god!

Sorry to hear about your best friend! mine studies about 1 hour away and i see her like 3 times a month because our schedules are so different and we dont live close:( we talk everyday but it just ISNT the same and i miss her!

Yeah, if i become a famous vet (is that even real?! how can a vet be famous, i'm gonna have to make a carreer change just in case in the future i become known and he comes after me yeah, the stupid part is that if i won the jackpot the first thing i would do is hire them for a semi-private gig! Therefore everyone could attend because i want people to know and love them as much as i do!! and the private part is because i would throw an after party where i would so get to meet them! hehe

I have a friend of mine who is tthat far from home and she goes every single weekend and another who only comes like once a month, so i guess it really depends on the person... Yeah, i mean i dont live in Lisbon per say, but its pretty close (driving, coz public transportation are great for the ozone layer and all but they kind of suck where i live --') and now that i study there for about a year i wouldnt trade it for the world! We have everything here and we can go to one part of the city to the other end in 20 minutes (god, how i <3 the subway hehe)! But if you start from scratch in a smaller town you will get used to it too! And then you will think big cities are wierd, with all the noise and fuzz... Some of my friends are doing that and they say that they would never trade their smaller city for the capital! Its a choice!

I love Metallica but not enough to make them my era's theme, The Beatles on the other hand if they were alive (and together) they would share my heart with Muse! And these awesome guys who made wonderful songs before we were even born are going to stay with me for the rest of my life! Thats for sure!

Dont feel bad, in my group, i am the only one who really loves Queen, but i do have a soft spot for the oldies!! The Beatles, Queen, Nirvana (not as old as the others but still...), Supertramp, PINK FLOYD(), The Rolling Stones, Guns, AC DC, Bob Dylan (i have a thing for songs with harmonica hehehe, one of the reasons i love KoC!!) and a lot more! I just feel that the musicbiz nowadays isnt the same and that its loosing quality by the hour I DO LOVE MUSE, but in the past musicians made immortal songs! And i feel that a lot of the people who love Muse now, in 20 years wont be a fan anymore, that these amazing guys are just a fase thats not going to hapen to me though...i hope:$

Well, i'm already in college but since i live in the capital i dont need to move out, i mean it takes me a bit over a hour to get to school but aparently i dont need to live closer, according to my freaking parents this is... Shouldnt trash them, but i would kill to move out honestly, you are very lucky! i would love to live alone, if i could come home at weekends or every 15 days, dont know if this is your scenario....

Yeah, Chris is the serious one!! Than Dom and after that Matt... I <3 Matt but these days, i sometimes find myself a bit pissed at him and dont even know why since i dont even know him and never will actualy That thing at Glasto kind of set me off... But he knows what he is doing!

Well, Domdom never lies (unlike Matt:rolleyes:)! I think that when i am in my 20s i will still love concerts and music as much as i do now, but probably the time i dedicate to them will be a lot less once i get a job)! But since i'm "almost" 19, 20 isnt that far away! I'm getting old

When i first heard TR i thought the sound itself was pretty good, regarding songs i loved Resistance and Uprising (i'm a rebel hehehe) and alsoExo''s Part 1 and 3!*awesome* (part 2 is nice too but i like the others better)! But it wasnt the same, with other albuns i loved pretty much every single, love at first sight|!

Yeah, i hope thats it (but the first time i listened to Absolution i just loved it! Same with Showbiz! But with TR wasnt like that at all and can you believe that the first time i heard USOE i felt really bad because all i could think was they copied Queen??? But now i see the differences, even if the similarities are still too many to be dismissed!

IMO they could tour for another year and then record album no. 6 because i really want to listen to them live as soon as possible!!!!

Yeah!! I love them a lot more now than a couple of years ago! But to me, the TR songs arent so great as Abs songs or classics from OoS (CE, PiB, NB, BLISS= song), or even Showbiz or Sunburn (everytime i listen to "I'll hide from the world behind a broken frame", i just feel chills all over, i really love that line -dont know why but i just do)!

Yes, they have been touring for a long time, (specialy a few years ago, the OoS and Abs era) they toured non stop, didnt they??

But this year they still have 5 more months to go and it probab gonna be exausting! I really want to see them live every chance i get, but as years go by i notice they seem a bit more tired and that they are getting older (well, i know everybody thinks they are Gods, me included, but they DO age )!

Just hope i can see them a few more times before they split (and hope that happens in a distant future too, dont want them to stay together when there no longer is chemistry between them and their songs start to suck - hope that never hapens though!). So, do you believe they are gonna split soon like a lot of people in here do?? (when i first read that in some posts i got really sad and started crying , not that i'm proud of it --')lol

Yes, they came here in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2009 and again this year for RiR... I only saw them this year and in '08. in '09 it was sold out and in 2000 i was 9 i didnt even knew they played awesome songs! (2004 didnt know them either now that i think about it, only become a fan in '07 i think).

I was unbelievably close to the stage this year! it was awesome!i took signd and everything and they smiled at me! i thought i was dreaming! (not the best setlist but an amazing gig imo)
