  1. Well, I have. But I was a child and just watched them because my father did, so that's long ago and I can't say I remember them or the soundtracks a lot :-) Why? There's just that one song on the Django soundtrack with that whisteling that the very first whistle in The Globalist reminds me of. By now the song has turned into one of my favourites by the way.
  2. Does anybody else have to think of the Django Unchained soundtrack when listening to the beginning of the song? I adore the moment when Matt sings the first lines. I really love that verse and melody. Apart from that, there are many things I love about the song but also at least as many things that still have to grow on me...especially the weird transition between guitar riff and piano. All in all I'm pretty happy about the song though. I like songs that have to grow on me. Most of the time they turn out to become my favourites.
  3. After the first listen, I was pretty disappointed because I found the song too much of a stereotypic pop/classic rock song. But somehow, it is the one song I listen to the most often since the release of the complete album. I love especially the verses (which should really be twice as long) and the gentle guitar & voice. The ending still sounds like an average pop song to me and doesn't fit to the fragile feeling of the first half of the song in my opinion though. I happened to listen to brothers in arms a short time ago (for the first time) and was strongly reminded of the first part of aftermath.
